The invention relates to an emergency exit window with cutting wire reel for glued window assemblies, in particular in rail vehicles with laminated safety glass (LSG, consisting of two panes with a plastic film in between).

In rail vehicle construction, emergency exit systems are known in the area of window assemblies, the construction of which is complex and therefore uneconomical. These constructions are complicated and expensive to maintain. Due to the fact that they only need to be activated rarely, they often fail due to their stiff mechanics, especially in panic situations. The emergency exit systems currently in use with cutting wire technology are complicated to use and do not guarantee a quick separation of the pane from the adhesive joint, since only a single wire with movable pulleys is used here. It is known that currently glued window assemblies with laminated safety glass are not designed as emergency exits.

The invention is based on the object of creating an emergency exit system for glued window assemblies with laminated safety glass, in which it is ensured with little construction effort, almost maintenance-free, that a rapid destruction of the adhesive connection is achieved, as well as a risk of injury from the destroyed pane is excluded and the separation process is possible with minimal effort.

The solution is achieved by the features of patent claim 1. Advantageous further developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims. The emergency exit window constructed according to the invention achieves the solution of the problem by inserting cutting wires in the adhesive joint in the form of loops, guided over deflection rollers, and in an emergency

are pulled through the adhesive joint using an automatic, pre-tensioned cutting wire reel. This results in a complete separation of the adhesive bond.

The advantage of this inventive solution is that such an emergency exit system takes into account the safety needs of passengers when using the most modern glued window structures. The automatic cutting process eliminates subjective errors on the part of the operator.

According to Fig. 1, a pre-tensioned automatic cutting wire reel 1 with two looped cutting wires 2 is pulled around a pulley 3 through an adhesive joint 4 until the adhesive connection between the disc 5 and the support system is completely separated. Both cutting wires 2 are fastened by their ends in a common holder 6. According to Fig. 2, the cutting wire reel 1 pulls the cutting wires 2 through the adhesive joint 4.

Protection claims: 1. Emergency exit window for glued window assemblies in rail vehicles, characterized in that cutting wires (2) are inserted in a loop-like manner into an adhesive joint (4), which are rolled up under pre-tension via a cutting wire reel (1). 2. Emergency exit window according to claim 1, characterized in that the cutting wires (2) are laid in the form of loops in the adhesive joint (4). 3. Emergency exit window according to claim 1 to 2, characterized in that the cutting wires (2) are guided over deflection rollers (3). 4.
