Bei Erstellung und/oder Sanierung von Gebäuden besteht die Notwendigkeit, Ver- bzw. Entsorgungsleitungen durch Wände bzw. Decken hindurchzufuhren und anschließend gegen das Eindringen von z.B. Feuchtigkeit abzudichten. Dazu werden in der Regel sogenannte Dichtungseinsätze verwendet. Das Prinzip dieser Dichtungseinsätze besteht darin, daß zwischen zwei Spannelementen, die üblicherweise aus Metall hergestellt sind, ein gummiartiger Dichtkörper durch Anziehen von Spannbolzen verpreßt wird und somit zur Ver- bzw. Entsorgungsleitung einerseits und zur Laibung, beispielsweise einer Kernbohrung, andererseits abdichtet.When constructing and/or renovating buildings, it is necessary to run supply and disposal lines through walls and ceilings and then seal them against the ingress of moisture, for example.
