The invention relates to a device for removing the aerator from a faucet outlet.

Such a perlator is designed as a nut that can be screwed onto a faucet outlet and a sieve is arranged in its water flow that divides the water jet. This means that, depending on the lime content of the water, the flow in the area of the sieve becomes more or less clogged and such a part then has to be descaled or replaced with a new component. This object is achieved according to the invention in that a
U-shaped pipe part is provided with a vertical filler neck and a vertical aerator connection connected via a connecting passage, wherein the end of the filler neck is higher than the end of the aerator connection.

An advantageous embodiment provides that an elastically deformable connection sleeve can be plugged onto the aerator connection.

Furthermore, it is advantageous that the connecting passage has a flat elliptical cross-section.

The device according to the invention has a U-shaped pipe part, where the two parallel legs of the U have a filler neck 1 on the one hand and an aerator connection 2 on the other. The filler neck 1 and the aerator connection 2 are connected by a connecting passage 3. The pipe part can be made of polyvinyl chloride, for example, and the connecting passage is compressed flat during hot forming, resulting in an approximately elliptical, flat cross-section. However, it can also be made of metal. Furthermore, the filler neck 1 with its end 4 is designed to be slightly longer than the aerator connection 2, so that the end 4 is higher than the aerator connection.

In order to be able to connect the device to different diameters of such perlators, an elastic connection sleeve 5 is placed on the aerator connection 2, the upper part 6 of which is pushed over the aerator on the faucet outlet.

To descale, the device with the connection sleeve 5 is pushed onto the water tap outlet or the aerator and the descaling liquid is filled in via the filler neck 1. The liquid level for the descaling liquid is the upper edge 4 on the filler neck 1 and since the connection sleeve is lower, the liquid enters the aerator. Care must be taken that the height difference does not become too great in order to avoid the descaling liquid getting into the water tap pipe.

Protection claims 1) Device for decalcifying an aerator that can be screwed onto a faucet outlet, characterized in that a U-shaped pipe part is provided with a vertical filler neck (1) and a vertical aerator connection (2) connected via a connecting passage (3), the end (4) of the filler neck (1) being higher than the end of the aerator connection (2). 2) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that an elastically deformable connection sleeve (5) can be plugged onto the aerator connection (2). 3) Device according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the connecting passage (3) has a flat elliptical cross-section.
