Die Aufspanneinrichtung ist von wenigstens vier in etwa gleichem Abstand voneinander angeordneten und sich in Längsrichtung des zu bildenden Tunnels erstreckenden L-förmigen Streben gebildet, von denen jeweils das freie Ende des stehenden Schenkels über einen ersten Bügel und das freie Ende des liegenden Schenkels über einen zweiten Bügel miteinander verbunden sind. Der erste Bügel ist dabei halbkreisförmig mit einer der Strumpfgröße entsprechenden weite und der zweite viereckig mit einer deutlich größeren Weite ausgebildet, so daß die dem halbkreisförmigen Bügel gegenüberliegenden Enden des Tunnels nicht miteinander verbunden sind.
