The invention relates to a container which is particularly suitable as a toy container.

Board games generally require a larger game board and a larger storage container, or they are available in miniature versions, which are often confusing due to their design and therefore impractical for longer games. Furthermore, the game equipment is often difficult to store in a miniature version. There is therefore a need for a container, in particular a game container, which is suitable for accommodating all the necessary game equipment and which can also be used as the actual "playing surface". The innovation achieves this goal through the subject matter of claim 1. Accordingly, the container comprises a lower part and an upper part covering the lower part, the upper part being provided with a plurality of holes on its upper side, one of which completely penetrates the upper part and the others of which only penetrate into the container so deeply that pins can be inserted into them.

The container designed in this way can easily be made compact and allows it to be used both as a container for storing the game equipment and for playing the game itself.

Advantageous embodiments of the innovation are characterized in that the holes have essentially the same diameter (claim 2), that the associated pins have a diameter adapted to the diameter of the holes (claim 3), that the lower part is designed in such a way that it can accommodate both a plurality of pins and additional utensils such as dice (claim 4), and that the container is essentially cylindrical, with the lower part having a central cylindrical hole into which a cylindrical extension of the upper part can be inserted. Light materials such as metal (e.g. aluminum) or plastic have emerged as suitable materials.

With this container, the following game can be played in a particularly advantageous way:
