Such household filling funnels are known in various designs. Firstly, there are filling funnels for preserving jars, which have a comparatively short, stocky base body and can be placed on the top of preserving jars in order to be able to fill the products to be filled without contaminating the surrounding area or the edge of the jar.

Other filling funnels are used to fill freezer bags and have a relatively long, elongated base body so that they can extend into the freezer bag and the upper edge of the freezer bag can be pressed against the filling funnel by hand. Due to this elongated design, however, such funnels are not suitable for filling preserving jars because their diameter is too small for this and the elongated base body would dip into the jar.

Accordingly, it is traditionally necessary to have separate funnels available for both purposes.

Based on this, the invention is based on the object of designing a household filling funnel in such a way that it is equally suitable for filling preserving jars and freezer bags.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that an extension attachment can be attached in the area of the outlet opening. The extension attachment is attached for filling freezer bags or the like and is simply removed for filling preserving jars. 5

The extension attachment is conveniently conical so that a freezer bag can be easily slipped over it and a convenient gripping surface is created for the hand.

The base body of the filling funnel can also have a conical section, so that it can be easily placed on preserving jars of different diameters.

At the lower end of the conical section, a plug-in attachment is advantageously formed, which merges into the conical section of the main body via a step, so that a clean attachment of the extension attachment is possible.

The upper edge of the extension attachment is advantageously designed as a stiffening and sealing edge.

A filling funnel shown in the drawing comprises an upper stiffening edge 1, in the area of which a handle 2 is formed, a conical section 3 for adaptation to preserving jars 4, 4' of different diameters, a step 5 on the upper edge of a plug-in attachment 6 and an extension attachment 7, which is slightly conical, with an upper stiffening edge 8.

Fig. 2 shows how the filling funnel according to the invention with its conical section 3 can be placed on preserving jars 4 or 4' with different diameters.

In contrast, Fig. 3 shows the filling situation with a freezer bag 9, whereby the opening-side end Io of the freezer bag 9 surrounds the extension attachment 7 and this end Io can be held in the hand together with the extension attachment 7 during the filling process.

Household filling funnel comprising a base body with a handle and an upper filling opening and a lower outlet opening having a smaller diameter than the filling opening, characterized in that an extension attachment (7) can be attached in the region of the outlet opening. 2. Household filling funnel according to claim 1, characterized in that the extension attachment (7) is conical. 3. Household filling funnel according to claim 1, characterized in that the base body has a conical section (3). 4. Household filling funnel according to claim 3, characterized in that a plug-in projection (6) is formed at the lower end of the conical section (3), which merges via a step (5) into the conical section (3) of the base body. 5. Household filling funnel according to claim 1, characterized in that the upper edge of the extension attachment (7) is designed as a stiffening and sealing edge (8).
