Problem:Problem:

Die intravenöse Applikation von Medikamenten im Notartzdienst hat sich als Standardtherapie etabliert. Dazu wird in eine periphere oder zentrale Vene eine Venenverweilkanüle gelegt, an die eine Infüsionsbehältnis 12 angeschlossen wird. Der Inhalt des Behältnisses, die Infusionslösung, tropft der Schwerkraft folgend in die Vene. Dazu muß sich das Behältnis höher als der Patient 14 befinden und wird zu diesem Zwecke von einem Sanitäter 11 oder einer anderen Hilfsperson gehalten (Abb.l). Im Rettungsdienst gibt es vielfach Situationen (z.B. Wiederbelebungen), in denen jeder Helfer für z.B. das Aufziehen von Medikamenten, das Beatmen oder für die Herzmassage benötigt wird. Auch müssen in die Venenverweilkanüle applizierte Medikamente durch die Infusionslösung in den Kreislauf gespült werden, um die erwünschte schnelle Wirkung zu zeigen. Wie eingangs erwähnt, muß zu diesem Zweck das Infusionsbehältnis über Patientenniveau gehalten werden. Die dazu benötigte Person könnte für andere Aufgaben (s.o.) eingesetzt werden. Die im Rettungsdienst zur Anwendung kommenden Infusionsbehältnisse sind aus Kunststoff, haben ein Füllvolumen von bis zu 500ml und weisen an der dem Entnahmestopfen gegenüberliegenden Seite eine Öse 15 zur Befestigung an Infusionsstangen auf. Analog dazu verfügen Infusionsbeutel über ein Befestigungsloch.The intravenous application of medication in emergency medical services has become established as standard therapy.
