Bekannt sind Werkzeuggreifer der vorstehenden Art, bei denen der Greifvorgang durch Sensoren pneumatisch gesteuert wird. Der Aufwand für die Herstellung derartiger Greifer und die Kosten für ihre steuerungstechnische Einbindung in Werkzeughandhabungssysteme sind nicht unbeträchtlich. Hinzu kommt ein verhältnismäßig hoher Raumbedarf, da die Unterbringung der Pneumatik im Greifer vergleichsweise viel Platz beansprucht. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Greifer der in Betracht gezogenen Art zu schaffen, der einfach und kompakt aufgebaut und ohne Energiezufuhr von außen einsetzbar ist. Zwischen den mit Stützflächen 12,13 versehenen Enden der kürzeren Arme 6,8 der Schwenkhebel 1,2 ist mindestens eine Druckfeder 14 angeordnet, die sich mit ihren Enden über Kugeln 15,16 an den Stützflächen 12,13 abstützt. Die Druckfeder 14 hält die Schwenkarme 1,2 in der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Lage, in der die kürzeren Arme 6,8 gegen die Seitenwände 17,18 des Unterteils 10 des Gehäuses anliegen. An den äußeren Enden der längeren Arme 5,7 der Schwenkhebel 1,2 sind Rollen 19,20 angeordnet, die das Ein- und Ausfahren eines Werkzeugs 21 erleichtern.
