Bei diesen Lebensmitteln erfolgt die Entnahme aus dem Behältnis üblicherweise zum Zwecke der Nutzung als Brotaufstrich vermittels eines Messers oder bei Kosmetika vermittels Spatel oder Finger. Hierbei ergibt sich die Schwierigkeit der vollständigen Entleerung des Behältnisses, wenn nur noch eine dünne Schicht des Entnahmegutes die Bodenpartie desselben bedeckt. Die fortgesetzte Entnahme des Lebensmittels kann dann nur noch durch intensives Auskratzen mit der Messerspitze erfolgen, wobei mit jedem Strich der Messerspitze jeweils nur eine geringe Menge des Lebensmittels aufgenommen werden kann. Dies ergibt sich aus der Tatsache, daß die Messerspitze selbst nur eine geringe Aufnahmefläche bietet. Diese Form der Entnahme ist zeitintensiv, verursacht häufig störende Kratzgeräusche und läßt trotz intensiver Wiederholung häufig dennoch Residualvolumina des Entnahmegutes zurück.
