Common devices for this application (information wall) are magnetic walls and so-called pin boards with pin attachment. They have some serious disadvantages that are inherent in the system.

Pin boards with pin attachments have a picture frame-like, rigid structure that must be of a certain thickness to hold the pins. The size is determined by the surrounding frame and cannot be varied. They usually have a bulky, unattractive design, which is further enhanced by the use of cardboard and/or cork. In addition, documents and the pin board are damaged by the pins sticking in.

Pinboards with magnetic holders are rigid metal constructions that also cannot be varied in size or individually adjusted.

The installation requires a flat surface and the heavy weight requires appropriate fastening. In addition, handling magnets is a fundamental risk in areas where magnetic data storage media (audio tapes, video tapes, computer disks) are frequently used.
Production is cost-intensive.

In order to avoid such system-related disadvantages, the metal body of the magnetic board and the cork, cardboard and foam construction of the pin boards were replaced by a thin loop mat (see Fig. 1, No. 1). The attachment of, for example, notes, letters, documents, information and writing utensils is therefore carried out using holders with Velcro hooks (see Fig. 1, A-E), which are fixed to the loop mat. The loop mat is applied (glued) to a suitable surface (see Fig. 1, No. 3). It preferably has a self-adhesive back.

Advantages of the invention described are in particular:

1) The loop mat can be adjusted in size and shape to suit the user’s individual design requirements by simply cutting it to size.

2) It can be easily attached (glued) anywhere.

3) The system is more attractive than clunky, shapeless pinboards made of cork and/or cardboard.

4) The system is also suitable for large areas, as the loop mat can be applied like wallpaper in almost any size (expandable).

5) The invention allows the secure attachment of accessories such as note holders, writing utensil holders, etc.

6) The loop mat is flexible and therefore adapts to the substrate. This does not have to be flat (e.g. round columns, projections, edges, corners, etc.). This results in a more universal use.

Embodiments of the invention are shown in Fig. 1:

A) Clothespin-type retaining clip (side view).

D) Holder with pointed pin for attaching notes, for example.

PROTECTION CLAIMS 1) Information wall with Velcro system holder, characterized in that a loop mat (see: Fig. 1, No. 1) is used to attach different holders which serve to fix notes, letters, documents, information and writing utensils. 2) Information wall with Velcro system holder according to claim 1, characterized in that the loop mat (see: Fig. 1, No. 1) preferably has a self-adhesive back for attachment. 3) Information wall with Velcro system holder according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the holders are fixed using Velcro hooks. 4) Information wall with Velcro system holder according to claim 1, 2 and 3, characterized in that the Velcro hooks are glued onto the holders (see: Fig. 1, A-E) or incorporated into them.
