Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Chemikalienschutzhandschuh, der insbesondere in der Industrie bei sehr hoher Beanspruchung durch Chemikalien zum Einsatz kommt.The invention relates to a chemical protection glove which is used in particular in industry where there is very high exposure to chemicals.
Solche Schutzhandschuhe sind bekannt. Sie werden entweder im Tauchverfahren oder durch Spritzgießen als einschichtige oder zweischichtige Handschuhe hergestellt.Such protective gloves are well known. Als Material für solche Chemikalienschutzhandschuhe werden u.a. Chloroprene verwendet. Allerdings haben aus diesem Material hergestellte Handschuhe keine sehr hohe Resistenz gegen bestimmte Chemikalien. Deshalb werden einschichtige Schutzhandschuhe, die einen hohen Schutzeffekt gewährleisten müssen, je nach Verwendungszweck, aus Fluorkautschuk oder Butylkautschuk hergestellt. Derartige Schutzhandschuhe aus Fluorkautschuk werden vor allem dort benötigt, wo mit Lösungsmitteln, speziell Kohlenwasserstoffen sowie Laugen und Säuren gearbeitet werden muß. Schutzhandschuhe aus Fluorkautschuk sind jedoch nicht beständig gegen Ester und Ketone. Deshalb werden für den Einsatz bei derartigen Materialien solche Handschuhe aus Butylkautschuk gefertigt. Die Herstellung eines allseitig verwendbaren zweilagigen Chemikalienschutzhandschuhes in der Kombination Butyl/Fluorkautschuk, der sowohl gegen Lösungsmittel wie Kohlenwasserstoffe als auch gegen Ester und Ketone resistent ist, scheiterte bisher daran, daß bei der Herstellung solcher Handschuhe im Lösungstauchverfahren und Sandwichbauweise die nacheinander aufzutragenden Schichten Butyl und Fluorkautschuk, bzw. deren Lösungsmittel, chemisch miteinander reagieren. Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe durch einen in Sandwichbauweise aus drei Schichten hergestellten Chemikalienschutzhandschuh gelöst. Dieser im Lösungstauchverfahren hergestellte Handschuh besteht vorzugsweise aus einer Grundschicht aus Butyl, einer Zwischenschicht aus Chloroprene und einer Deckschicht aus Fluorkautschuk. Chloroprene hat eine mittlere Beständigkeit gegenüber dem Fluorkautschuk-Lösungsmittel MIK/MIBK und haftet gut auf der Grundschicht Butyl.According to the invention, this object is achieved by a chemical protection glove made of three layers in a sandwich construction.
