Bei dem Autodachzelt gemäß der Erfindung ist die Haube an der Längsseite der Zelt-Grundplatte anscharniert und die Haube kragt am Umfang über die Grundplatte soweit vor daß ein Einklemmen von Zeltmaterial zwischen dem Rand der Grundplatte und dem Rand der unteren Öffnung der Haube vermieden wird und ein Schließen der Haube auch dann problemlos möglich ist, wenn Zeltmaterial seitlich über den Rand der Grundplatte hinausreicht.. Ein Abschluß des Zwischenraumes zwischen dem Rand der Grundplatte und der Öffnung der Haube wird durch eine Schürze aus flexiblem Folienmaterial erreicht, die am unteren Rand er Haube befestigt und beim freien Ende mit einem in Umfangsrichtung verlaufenden Gummizug versehen ist.
