Das hat den Nachteil, daß z. B. ein Schmutzauffangschacht solange Schmutz aufnimmt, bis er überläuft. Da regelmäßig neben feinkörnigem Staub auch Abfälle wie Papier, Zigarettenreste etc. in diese Schächte fallen oder geworfen werden, ist ein solcher Schacht nicht nur sehr unansehnlich, er verbreitet auch unangenehme Gerüche. In Fig. 2 und 3 sind die unterbrochen dargestellte Seitenansicht und Draufsicht einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Gitterrostes 1 zu erkennen. Zur Abdeckung beispielsweise eines vertikal verlaufenden rechteckigen Heizungsschachtes besteht ein Gitterrost 1, aus vorzugsweise zwei in einer Ebene parallel gegenüber angeordneten, aus massivem Rundstahl gefertigten Halteprofilen 2 und 3, deren jeweils beide Enden mit Gewinde versehen sind und deren Längen der Länge des abzudeckenden Schachtes angepaßt sind. Auf die zwei sich parallel gegenüberliegenden Gewindeenden jedes Halteprofils 2 und 3 ist z. B. eine Mutter fest aufgeschraubt. Mehrere gemäß Fig. 1 aus Edelstahlblech vorgefertigte Profilteile 8, deren Bohrungspaare 8'¹'¹ einen geringfügig größer ausgeführten Durchmesser aufweisen, als der für die Halteprofile 2 und 3 gewählte Außendurchmesser, sind jeweils auf das rechte und linke Halteprofil 2 oder 3 aufgesteckt, wobei die Längen der Profilteile 8 der Schachtbreite angepaßt sind und die Breiten der Profilteile 8 vertikal zur Lageebene des Gitterrostes 1 verlaufen, wobei in der beschriebenen Ausführungsform die Abkantflächen 8¹ die Deck- bzw. Trittfläche bilden. Auf jedem Halteprofil 2 und 3 ist jeweils zwischen zwei Profilteilen 8 ein Abstandhalter 6 aufgesteckt, der aus Edelstahlrohr gefertigt ist, das über einen geringfügig größeren Innendurchmesser, als der Außendurchmesser der Halteprofile 2 und 3 verfügt. 3. Grating (1) according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the width of the gap (5) corresponds to the width of the spacer (S) arranged between each two profile parts (8) and the width of the U-channel (8 ¹¹ ) formed on the profile part (8) and can be determined by this.

Grating (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the strength of the natural suction can be adjusted with the determinable width of the gap (5) and the definable length of the short U-leg (8 ¹¹¹¹ ) of the U-channel (8'M) as well as by the silhouette of the profile part (8).

Grating (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the holding profiles (2, 3) consist of rigid solid material with and/or without thread or a hollow profile or of flexible strip or link material and the spacers (6) consist of a hollow profile adapted to the shape of the holding profiles (2, 3).
