Zur Verbindung der beiden unterschiedlich harten Kunststoffbereiche des Kunststoffkernes ist bevorzugt vorgesehen, daß der harte Kunststoffteil oder der weiche Kunststoffteil Hinterschneidungen aufweist, hinter welche Material des anderen Kunststoffteiles tritt, so daß eine formschlüssige Aneinanderhaftung der beiden Kunststoffteile gegeben ist und der Kern formfüllend in der Schale einliegen kann. Der weiche Kunststoffteil ist dabei mit der Schaleninnenwand verklebt. Eine bevorzugte Ausgestaltung der Erfindung sieht vor, daß der harte Kunststoffteil mit einer Ebene auf der Gehäusewandebene aufliegt und dort an verschiedenen Stellen über eine Druckknopfverbindung mit selbiger verbunden ist. Der harte Kunststoff innenkern ist bevorzugt über die gesamte von der Gehäusewand abweisenden Oberfläche mit weichem Material überzogen sein, so daß der weiche Kunststoffbereich in randseitiger Anlage an der Gehäusewand liegt. Auch hier ist eine randseitige Hinterschneidung des harten Kunststoffkernes vorgesehen, so daß der weiche Kunststoffkern dort in formschlüssigem Hintergriff treten kann. Es ist bevorzugt vorgesehen, daß die Druckknöpfe von Stiften ausgebildet werden, welche aus der Breitseite der Gehäusewand austreten. Die Druckknöpfe weisen radial ausladende Umfangsvorsprünge auf. Diese UmfangsvorSprünge können von auf die Stifte ausgepreßten Profilhülsen ausgebildet sein. In einer bevorzugten Ausgestaltung der Erfindung sind die die Druckknöpfe ausbildenden Stifte die Verlängerung einer Schwenkachse der Werkzeuge. Das Taschenmesser ist bevorzugt beidseitig mit einer von einem derartigen Innenkern getragenen Schale versehen. Die Schwenkachsen der Werkzeuge können dazu beidseitig über die Gehäusewand überstehen und als Druckknöpfe ausgebildet sein. Die Herstellung des Kunststoffkernes erfolgt vorzugsweise im Spritzgußverfahren. Zuerst wird in einer ersten Form der Innenkern aus hartem Werkstoff spritzgegossen. Dieser Innenkern wird sodann in eine zweite Form eingelegt und von weichem Kunststoff umspritzt. Zufolge der ausgebildeten Hinterschneidungen tritt der weiche Kunststoff sodann in Formschlußverbindung zum harten Kunststoffinnenkernteil. Die erfindungsgemäße GriffSchalenanordnung ist bevorzugt für ein Taschenmesser vorgesehen.
