Folder for collecting documents

The invention relates to a folder for collecting documents, in particular magazines, with an arrangement provided on the inside of the folder cover for storing data carriers, in particular compact discs.

Folders of the type in question here are either made entirely of plastic or covered with a plastic film. This makes it possible to weld pockets or the like onto the inside of the folder cover in order to be able to store flat objects in the pockets. Such folders have a wide variety of technical options for collecting documents, whereby the term "documents" refers to any form of sheets, booklets or the like that are to be lined up, clamped or stored in any other way in the folder.

The invention now relates specifically to a folder which is intended to enable the storage of data carriers, possibly alongside documents, in a particularly simple, inexpensive and secure manner. This object is achieved with the invention in that a closure part which extends through the central area of the data carrier is attached to the inside of a cover and which engages with a second closure part which surrounds the data carrier in

Active connection, whereby the closure parts consist of a snap fastener-like structure.

The invention takes advantage of the fact that data carriers, especially compact discs, usually have a

have a perforated central area that is intended to be able to center the data carrier on a playback device. According to the invention, such data carriers can be attached to folders particularly easily and securely by the closure parts reaching through this central area. In particular, the invention provides that the closure parts consist of a snap fastener-like structure, of which one snap fastener part is welded to the folder cover and the other snap fastener part is arranged on a tab that at least partially covers the data carrier. The data carrier is centered by these closure parts and secured against falling out of the folder.

It is known from DE-GM 295 09 502 to create a presentation packaging for compact discs in the form of a folder consisting of three parts, of which the two outer parts are designed as flaps. In the middle part there is a recessed grip into which the individual compact disc is inserted. A locking bar reaches to the middle of the compact disc and reaches through its central opening.

However, this does not suggest the invention of connecting two closure parts to one another by means of a snap fastener-like structure.

Within the scope of embodiments of the invention, it is recommended that the individual data carrier is arranged in a half-open pocket and the closed pocket edge is welded to the folder cover. In this case, the tab should be welded to the folder cover opposite the pocket opening, which also ensures

^! Safe storage of the data carrier in the folder is guaranteed.

In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that several half-open pockets are welded to the folder cover in a congruent or offset manner, and that only one tab that overlaps the top pocket is assigned to each of them. In this context, the invention can provide for the arrangement of groups of such pockets whose openings point in opposite directions and whose edges to be welded to the folder cover are located in the middle area of the folder cover.

The embodiment in Figure 1 shows symbolically the inside view of an open folder (1), the cover (6) of which is connected to a back part (21) via folds (5). One cover (6) is intended to hold documents (2) on its inside. In the example in Figure 1, a cover (3) or pocket is provided for this purpose, which is connected to the inside of the cover (6) along the weld seam (4). The documents (2) are inserted into the pocket (3) at the opening on one side (16).

Instead of such a pocket (2), any other known possibility for receiving and holding the documents (2) can be provided.

On the inside of the other cover (6) there is in the embodiment of Figure 1 at least one data carrier (7), in particular a compact disc, which should be held just as securely on the folder {1}. For this purpose, in the example of Figure 1 a closure part (8) is provided, which is connected to the inside of the

cover (6) of the folder (1) and passes through the data carrier (7). A tab (9) which is connected along the weld seam (10) to the inner surface of the cover (6) surrounds the data carrier (7) and also has the counterpart of the closure part (8) in order to center and hold the data carrier (7) on the folder cover (6).

In the enlarged partial section according to Figure 2, it is indicated that the closure part (8) according to Figure 1 can consist of a snap fastener-like structure. The snap fastener part (12) is welded to the inside of the lid (6) and has an undercut cavity into which the snap fastener part (11), which in turn is shaped like a bead, can engage. The snap fastener part (11) is in turn welded to the tab (9).

All parts to be welded together are made of weldable plastic, whereby it is recommended that the tab (9) or the corresponding cover parts be made transparent in order to be able to recognize the labeling of the data carrier (7).

As Figure 2 also shows, the individual data carrier (7) has a recess (13) in the central area through which the push-button part (12) protrudes. In this way, the individual data carrier (7) is held centered on the folder cover (6).

In the embodiment of Figure 3, the individual data carrier (7) is held in a pocket (14) which has an opening (16) on one side and is welded to the inside of the folder cover (6) with its closed pocket edge (15), which is opposite the opening (16). Opposite the opening (16) is the weld seam (10) for attaching a

transparent flap (9), which in turn carries the snap fastener part (11) of the closure part (8) (see Fig. 2). It is obvious that several data carriers (7) can also be located in the pocket (14).

The example in Figure 4 symbolically shows several groups (18,19) of pockets (14) that can be arranged on the inside of a folder cover (6). In this case, there is approximately one in the central area of the

It is therefore shown that the invention can be implemented in many different ways, which is why the invention is not limited to the embodiments shown, but extends to all other variants that are readily apparent to the person skilled in the art with knowledge of the disclosure of the invention.

Folder with an arrangement provided on an inner side of the folder cover (6) for storing data carriers (7), in particular compact discs, characterized in that a closure part (8) is attached to the inner side of a cover (6) which passes through the central area (13) of the data carrier (7) and is in operative connection with a second closure part (9, 11) which surrounds the data carrier (7), the closure parts (8) consisting of a push-button-like structure (11, 12). 2.) Folder according to claim 1, characterized characterized in that one snap fastener part (12) is welded to the folder cover (6) and the other snap fastener part (11) is arranged on a tab (9) that at least partially covers the data carrier (7). 3.) Folder according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the individual data carrier (7) is arranged in a half-open pocket (14) and the closed pocket edge (15) is welded to the folder cover (6). 4.) Folder according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the tab (9) is welded (10) to the folder cover (6) opposite the opening (16) of the pocket (14). 5.) Folder according to claim 1 or one of the following, characterized in that several half-open pockets (14) are welded to the folder cover (6) in a congruent or offset manner, and that only one tab (9) overlapping the uppermost pocket (14) is assigned to each of them. 6.) Folder according to claim 1 or one of the following, characterized in that in the central area of the folder cover (6) two groups (18, 19) of pockets (14) are connected to the latter, the openings (16) of which point in mutually opposite directions.
