Überraschenderweise hat sich herausgestellt, daß durch eine derartige Verstärker- und Lautsprecheranordnung ein Klangbild zur Verfugung gestellt wird, bei dem es möglich ist, bestimmten Klangquellen bestimmte räumliche Stellen zuzuordnen. Dies gilt insbesondere für normale Stereoanlagen, bei denen normalerweise das Klangbild insoweit homogen zur Verfugung gestellt wird, als nicht feststellbar ist, welche Instrumente oder Stimmen eines Ensembles an welchen räumlichen Stellen angeordnet sind. Auch bei sogenannten High-End-Anlagen läßt sich eine Veränderung des erzeugten Klangbildes feststellen, die von vielen Zuhörern als Verbesserung aufgefaßt wird.
