Die Erfindung betrifft ein Band für Duschabtrennungen, welches aus mindestens zwei Bandlappen als Bandunterteii besteht, die im drehbaren Bereich durch einen Scharnierstift kraftschlüssig und drehbar miteinander verbunden sind. Die Bandunterteile sind über in den Glasscheiben vorhandene Bohrungen mit diesen befestigt. Die Bandunterteile sind dabei als gerade und flache Bauteile ausgeführt, die an dem von dem drehbaren Bereich abweisenden Teil einen pfeilförmigen Verlauf aufweisen. Abgedeckt werden die Bandunterteile durch unterschiedlichst gestaltete Abdeckkappen. Dabei sind zu besseren Anpassung der hierauf zu setzenden Abdeckkappen die Kanten durch Radien entschärft. Über die Bandunterteile werden dann Abdeckkappen überkront, die in den unterschiedlichsten Formen und Materialien optisch den Gegebenheiten einer Dusche angepaßt werden können. Die Gegenklemmplatte, die sich auf der dem Bandunterteil gegenüberliegenden Seite der Glasscheibe befindet, hat dabei stets die gleiche Form wie die Abdeckkappen. In der Figur 1 wird ein Bandunterteil 1 wiedergegeben, welches in den Bandlappen Bohrungen 4 aufweist, die zur kraft- und formschlüssigen Verbindung der Glasscheibe 9 dienen. Durch diese Gestaltung der Form des Bandunterteiies 1 ist es möglich, verschiedenartige Abdeckkappen auf eine solche Unterkonstruktion eines Bandunterteiies 1 aufzusetzen. Wie die Erfindung aufzeigt, sind sowohl die Abdeckkappen als auch die Gegenklemmplatten jeweils in der gleichen geometrischen Form ausgeführt worden. Durch die Verwendung eines universellen Bandunterteiles 1 kann durch Überkronen mit entsprechenden Abdeckkappen eine geringere Lagerhaltung erreicht werden, was sich dadurch auszeichnet, daß entsprechende Herstellungskosten drastisch gesenkt werden können. Ebenfalls bietet sich die Möglichkeit, die Abdeckkappen im Material anderen Bandteilen bzw. Duscheinrichtungen anzupassen. Dieses kann in Edelstahl, Messing oder jedem anderen geeigneten Material durchgeführt werden.
