Care sticks

The invention relates to a care stick with an elongated handle body, at each of whose two free ends a care body is arranged.

Such care sticks with cotton pads attached to both ends are widely used for daily beauty care, especially eye cosmetics, manicures, and lipstick correction.

The aim of the present invention is to make the field of application of the known care sticks more universal.

This task is solved by the fact that the care stick has two different care bodies, one of which is formed by a cotton pad and the other by a brush head. This creates a care stick that combines the advantages of a cotton pad with those of an additional brush. By attaching the brush, one of the two cotton pads is eliminated compared to known care sticks, but this does not result in any significant disadvantage. Care sticks are generally already used once.

destroyed, so that the supply in the form of a second cotton pad generally remains unused. The combination of cotton pad and brush head on a care stick, on the other hand, increases the area of application, since each side of the care stick can be used differently. The frequency of use of both sides of a care stick is thus improved.

In order to be able to use the brush head for dental care, it can be designed as a dental brush.

The type of brush head can be chosen individually, whereby the usual brush types, such as round brushes and flat brushes in particular, can be used. The shape of the brush head can also be freely chosen. For cleaning purposes, conical brush heads are preferred.

Natural bristles as well as plastic bristles can be used as material for the brush head.

The handle of the care stick is preferably made of an elastic plastic material, which improves the handling of the care stick.

For a preferably symmetrical design of the care stick, the two care bodies can extend with approximately the same length in the longitudinal direction of the handle body.

The invention is explained in more detail below using the embodiment shown in the attached figure.

Figure 1 shows a schematic side view of a care stick.

The care stick shown in Figure 1 comprises an elongated handle body 1, at the two free ends 2, 3 of which various care bodies are arranged. A cotton pad 4 is attached to a first free end 2 of the handle body 1 as a care body. A second free end 3 of the handle body 1 carries a brush head 5 as a care body. The dimensions of the handle body 1 as well as the cotton pad 4 and the brush head 5 are designed for hand use and can be adapted to the dimensions of known care sticks.

The cotton pad 4 and the brush head 5 extend in the longitudinal direction of the handle body 1, wherein the cotton pad 4 preferably partially wraps around the first end 2 of the handle body in order to have a dimensionally stable design.

The brush head 5 is attached to the second free end 3 of the handle body 1 and preferably extends the handle body 1 in the longitudinal direction. The brush head 5 is equipped with a plurality of bristles 6 which are attached to a brush body 7. The brush body 7 is preferably a wire to which the bristles 6 are clamped. The bristles 6 can be arranged according to a selectable pattern. The brush head 5 is preferably designed as a round or flat brush, whereby the brush head 5 can have a cylindrical, conical or discontinuous longitudinal extension.

Natural and plastic materials can be used as the material for the brush head 5. If the brush head 5 is designed as a dental brush, a stainless steel wire is preferably used for the brush body 5.

The length of the brush head 5 is selectable and preferably adapted to the length of the cotton pad. The same preferably also applies to the length of the brush head 5.

The brush head 5 can be attached to the handle body 1 by welding or gluing.

The handle body 1 is generally a round or elliptical rod. An elastic plastic is preferably used as the material for the handle body 1.

Protection claims 1. Care stick with an elongated handle body, at each of whose two free ends a care body is arranged, characterized in that the care body is formed at one end by a cotton pad and at the other end by a brush head. 2. Care stick according to claim 1, characterized in that the brush head is designed as a dental brush. 3. Care stick according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the brush head is designed as a flat or round brush. 4. Care stick according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the brush head has a conical longitudinal extension. 5. Care stick according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the brush head consists of a natural or plastic material. 6. Care stick according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the handle body consists of an elastic plastic material. 7. Care stick according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the cotton pad and the brush head extend in the longitudinal direction of the handle body with substantially equal lengths.
