Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Rohrschelle mit selbsttätig schließenden Schenkeln zur Befestigung von Rohren an einer Wand, Decke oder Unterkonstruktion. Bei bisherigen Rohrschellen wird das zu montierende Rohr zumeist zwischen die beiden getrennten Schellenteile gelegt und diese dann mittels Schrauben aneinander befestigt. Andere Bauarten von Rohrschellen sind nur an einer Stelle geöffnet und werden zum Einlegen des Rohres aufgebogen. Auch hier erfolgt das Schließen der Rohrschelle mittels Schraube. Es gibt noch etliche andere Ausführungsformen der Schellen die alle zum Einlegen des Rohres geöffnet werden müssen und zu deren Schließen mindestens zwei Hände benötigt werden.The invention relates to a pipe clamp with self-closing legs for fastening pipes to a wall, ceiling or substructure. Mit der Erfindung wird erreicht, daß ein zu montierendes Rohr mit einer Hand in die an der Decke oder Wand oder einer Unterkonstruktion befestigte Rohrschelle eingeschoben werden kann und von dieser vorläufig gehalten wird. Die Sicherung gegen unerwünschtes Öffnen der Rohrschelle wird in einem nachfolgenden Montageschritt verschlossen. Dadurch ist es dem Monteur möglich das Rohr mit einer Hand zu montieren und sich gegebenebfalls mit einer Hand an Leiter festzuhalten.
