Description

The invention relates to a dosing dispenser for web-shaped material. Web-shaped material occurs in the home, for example, in the form of aluminum foil or cling film.

The cardboard packaging currently used for these films to dose the rolled-up films inside the box suffers from the fact that, in order to save packaging material, they are comparatively small and completely lose their shape or even tear open under even the slightest pressure.

They often do not fulfil their function until the film is used up, and are then just rubbish. Even when used as intended with both hands, it is not easy to hold the packaging with one hand at the same time, allow the film to unroll and yet grip it firmly enough to overcome the unrolling resistance of the film.

This often damages the packaging, sometimes even the tear-off edge. Furthermore, there is still no satisfactory solution to how the tear-off edges can be attached to the thin packaging without great effort and without affecting its ability to be torn off.

The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a dosing dispenser for web-shaped material which has a long service life and facilitates dosing, if necessary even when using only one hand.

According to the invention, this is achieved by the features listed in the main claim. The subclaims give advantageous embodiments of the invention.

It is particularly advantageous to design a stable, box-shaped base container and to provide a stable tear-off edge on it. Wood is a suitable material for such a container, but heavier materials such as marble or cast iron can also be used, which then have the advantage that the dispenser will not move when operated with one hand if the film is pulled when it is unrolled. To ensure that the film does not leave the dispenser in a roll, a lid is provided that closes the box-shaped container.

A lid is proposed that is attached to the outside of the housing using two hinges. Compared to internal hinges, this has the advantage that, on the one hand, the foils cannot be damaged by the hinges, and, on the other hand, the hinges can be designed in such a way that they can also serve as hangers for the dosing dispenser on a wall or the like. In an alternative design, in which the dosing dispenser is provided on a base, it is proposed to provide hollow spaces integrated into the dosing dispenser, which can then be filled by the user with heavy material, for example sand or water.

Alternatively, an additional base can be provided separately from the actual dispenser, in which such cavities are integrated, or which is already so heavy that it prevents the dispenser from slipping, and this base can be connected to the actual dispenser using separate devices. It is advisable to design the hangers for hanging the dispenser in such a way that a tight fit is ensured, for example, using a tab/eyelet connection. Velcro fasteners are also conceivable.

Finally, it is proposed to provide the lid with a recess for pulling out the film and to make it closable using side tabs. In this way, it can be ensured that a rolled-up film remains in the dispenser, even if considerable pulling forces are exerted. can be used to hold a roll in the dispenser.

The dispenser shown is made of thick-walled material and has a trough-shaped box with a rectangular cross-section, the top of which is open. A precisely fitting lid is provided on the top via two externally mounted swivel hinges, which swings up onto the top to close it. Accordingly, locking hinges are possible.

On the lower front edge, the edge furthest from the hinges, a tear-off blade with a multitude of sharp teeth is shown. If the dispenser is to be operated with one hand, it should be positioned so that this blade is at the top.

The material suggested for standing one-hand dispensers is heavy materials commonly used in the kitchen, marble, cast iron, wood. Combinations are possible. In particular, separate cast iron weights can be provided in a design with fillable cavities. These cavities can also be provided in the base provided in a design if the entire base is not to be designed accordingly.

Wall mounting could be achieved by means of appropriate hanging points, for which the invention proposes to integrate appropriate recesses into the hinges.

In contrast to the hinges, it is proposed to provide a bulge whose length corresponds to the width of a strip of material to be dispensed. This would be particularly advantageous in conjunction with the means for holding the lid in place, e.g. tabs on the narrow sides.

Another design has spring-loaded lugs on the inside of the narrow sides that hold a roller but still allow it to be turned.

Dosing dispenser for web-shaped material, characterized by an elongated receiving box which can be closed with a pivoting lid which is attached via at least one hinge to one of the edges of the open side along this longitudinal edge, a tear-off blade being provided diagonally opposite this edge and projecting beyond the side surface. 2. Dosing dispenser, characterized in that the receiving box has sufficient weight that it is not moved by the rolling resistance of a film unrolling in the dispenser. 3. Dosing dispenser according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by fastening the lid via two external pivoting hinges. 4. Dosing dispenser according to claim 3, characterized in that suspension eyes are provided in the hinges for fastening the dosing dispenser to a wall or the like.
