Bekannte Sportmatten (DE 85 33 824 Ul) für Hoch- oder Stabhochsprunganlagen weisen einen Kern aus Schaumgummi od. dgl. und eine diesen umgebende Hülle auf, die auf ihrer Oberseite meistens mit einer Schutzschicht in Form eines Spikeschutzgitters versehen ist. Dabei ist es üblich, Matten dieser Art in unterschiedlichen Ausführungsformen anzubieten, je nachdem ob sie beispielsweise für den Schulsport, als Trainigsmatten oder als Wettkampfmatten angewendet werden sollen. Dadurch läßt sich nicht nur die Zahl der benötigten Elemente reduzieren, was im Hinblick auf Preis und Lagerung günstig ist, sondern es wird auch die Möglichkeit geboten, durch späteren Zukauf von Teilen eine Änderung und/oder Ergänzung des Anwendungszwecks der Sportmatte herbeizuführen. Besonders vorteilhaft last sich ein solcher Sportmattensatz noch mit einem integrierten Rost versehen, wodurch sich die Kosten und die lagerhaltung noch günstiger gestalten lassen.The invention has the advantage that by creating a set of sports mats, its elements can be combined in different ways. In Fig. 1 ist eine Sportmatte 1, insbesondere eine Niedersprungmatte für Hochsprung- und Stabhochsprunganlagen, nur insoweit dargestellt, als es für das Verständnis eines erfindungsgemäßen Rosts erforderlich ist. Danach besteht die Sportmatte 1 im wesentlichen aus einer meistens quaderförmigen Hülle 2, die einen nicht näher dargestellten, entsprechend geformten Kern umhüllt, dessen Eigenschaften und dessen Aufbau weitgehend vom Anwendungszweck abhängen. Erfindungsgemäß bilden die anhand der Fig. 1 bis 3 beschriebenen Teile der Sportmatten 1 bzw. 7 vorzugsweise zusammen mit weiteren Teilen, die nachfolgend anhand der Fig. näher erläutert werden, einen Sportmattensatz. Die Erfindung ist nicht auf die beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiele beschränkt, die in vielfacher Weise abgewandelt werden können. Weiter wäre es möglich, den beschriebenen Sportmattensatz durch weitere Teile, insbesondere weitere unterschiedliche Kerne und/oder Hüllenteile zu ergänzen. Dabei versteht sich, daß die verschiednen Hüllenteile insbesondere das Zwischenteil 19 und die Oberteile 10, 21 in ihren Abmessungen jeweils an die Abmessungen der Kerne 8,18 bzw. Verschleißschichten 25 angepaßt werden, die von ihnen zu umhüllen sind. Das Zwischenteil 19 kann bei Bedarf auch ganz wegfallen, in welchem Fall die Verschleißschicht 25 wie bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 3 mit dem Kern 18 durch Kleben od. dgl. fest verbunden sein könnte. Außerdem ist es möglich, die Oberteile 10, 21 aus im wesentlichen bis zum Erdboden reichenden Umhüllungen auszubilden und an ihren Innenseiten mit zusätzlichen Streifen od. dgl. zu versehen, an denen die Knopflöcher 12, 24 ausgebildet sind. Weiter können als Verbindungselemente statt der beschriebenen Knöpfe und Knopflöcher auch andere Elemente, insbesondere Verschlußelemente wie zusammenwirkende Klettbänderteile, Haken und Ösen, Ösen und diese verbindende Seile aus wetterfestem Material od. dgl. verwendet werden.
