Die Neuerung betrifft eine Verpackung für ESD (Electrostatic Discharge = Elektrostatische Aufladung) - gefährdete Platinen.The innovation concerns packaging for circuit boards at risk of ESD (electrostatic discharge).
ESD-gefährdete Platinen werden üblicherweise in leitfähigen Folienbeuteln verpackt. Sind auf der Platine noch Batterien montiert, dann müssen diese Beutel sogar so präpariert sein, daß sie nur außen leitend, innen jedoch nicht leitend sind. Bei dieser Art der Verpackung besteht die Gefahr, daß die scharfen Beinchen der Batterie die Folie durchstechen, so daß sich die Batterie über die leitfähige Außenseite des Beutels entladen kann. Desweiteren entsteht ein erheblicher Aufwand beim Platinenhandling. Die Person, welche die Platine montiert, sollte geerdet sein, damit nicht noch eine ESD-Gefährdung durch den Monteur entsteht.Circuit boards at risk of ESD are usually packed in conductive foil bags. Der Behälter 1 besitzt eine Verschlußlasche 3, so daß während des Transportes und der Lagerung keinerlei Beschädigung möglich ist. Auf die Platine 2 ist eine Griffleiste 4, ebenfalls aus Karton, aufgeschoben. Diese bildet einen zusätzlichen Schutz nach dem Öffnen der Verschlußlasche 3. An der Griffleiste 4 wird die Platine 2 gefaßt und dann in das Regelgerät 5 eingesetzt.
