Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Stützkissen für Roilstühie, weiches einerseits verhindern soll, daß der Benutzer aus dem Rollstuhl herausrutscht und andererseits eine aufrechte Sitzhaltung unterstützen soll.The present invention relates to a support cushion for wheelchairs, which on the one hand is intended to prevent the user from slipping out of the wheelchair and on the other hand is intended to support an upright sitting posture.

Bei einer anderen Rollstuhlkonstruktion ist eine Kurzarmlehne mit etwa 30 cm Länge vorgesehen, welche anschließend etwa 20 cm tiefer mit einem Rohrstück über die gesamte Sitztiefe verlängert ist, wodurch auch in diesem Bereich eine seitliche Abstützung der Beine erfolgt. Diese Ausführungsform ist insbesondere gedacht damit der Benutzer mit dem Rollstuhl unter einen Tisch fahren kann, um eine bequeme Stellung einzunehmen. Die Rollstühie sind üblicherweise aus Stahirohrgestänge ausgeführt und zu einem flachen Paket zusammenklappbar. Rücken- und Sitzteil sind dabei aus einem flexiblen Kunststoff oder Textilstoff gefertigt.
