Es ist bekannt, daß viele Metalle beim Schmelzen unter Luftzutritt die in der Luft enthaltenen Gase, namentlich Sauerstoff, mit großer Begierigkeit ansaugen unter Bildung von Oxyden und anderen den Metallen und Metallmischungen schädlichen Verbindungen.
