Abstract

Liq. hydrocarbons are produced from aq. effluent and/or sewage sludge by hydrogenation under pressure and at high temp. Chlorophyll and/or oestrogenic hormones are added to the distillate as catalyst. Pref. hydrogenation is carried out at 60-100 bar and 180-400 degrees C. Pref. animal or vegetable protein-contg. materials are mixed in before hydrogenation.

Description

Verfahren zum Gewinnen von flüssigen Kohlenwasserstoffen ausProcess for extracting liquid hydrocarbons from

Wastewater and / or sewage sludge studies have shown that Sewage and digested sludge, in particular from brackish water deposits, among others organic components considerable proportions of cellulose, glucose, fats, hormone- and hemoglobin-containing proteins, the latter partly in colloidal form, as well Contain proteins from various types of excrement. These components mainly come from food companies, pulp mills, slaughterhouses, Butchers, the meat industry, restaurants and households, and get via the sewer network in sewage treatment plants or river mouths and form brackish water deposits in the latter.

Based on the knowledge that it is with the help of certain Microorganisms succeed directly from hydrocarbons, in particular from To obtain crude oil, protein, the invention is based on the object of hydrocarbons from sewage and / or sewage sludge, which so far at best tend to be composted could be made available for limited use.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the waste water and / or clarifying sludge is subjected to pressure hydrogenation at high temperatures and that the distillate is at least one catalyst in the form of chlorophyll and / or estrogenic hormones is added.

Extensive tests have shown that when such waste materials are hydrogenated a catalytic reaction sets in and the molecular composition of petroleum similar, hydrocarbon-containing oil is obtained as soon as the distillate is at high Chlorophyll and / or estrogenic hormones can be added to temperature and pressure. A particularly effective hydrogenation is in the presence of finely divided in the distillate Catalysts guaranteed and temperatures between 180 and 400 0C as well as a pressure range from 60 to 100 bar have proven to be useful. By adding more protein Substances of animal or vegetable origin to the Sewage and / or Sewage sludge before hydrogenation can evaluate the yield as improved.
