Die Gase treten in der Pfeilrichtung, wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich ist, von unten her zwischen die Heizrippen b ein und werden, sobald sie das Heizrohr α auf beiden Seiten passiert haben, durch die Umbiegungen nach der Mitte hin geführt und entweichen dort nach oben hin. Es wird hierdurch erreicht, daß einmal das Rohr α von den Heizgasen auch auf dem oberen Teil größtenteils bestrichen wird, des ferneren, daß auch die Heizrippen b in ihren mittleren, oberhalb des Heizrohres a liegenden Teilen bestrichen werden. Es wird also sowohl an dem Heizrohr α als auch an den Heizrippen b eine größere, von Heizgasen bestrichene Heizfläche erzielt.In Fig. 1 to 4, a rib heating tube a is shown.
