KAISERLICHES PATENTAMT. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine besondere Ausgestaltung von Förderschnecken nebst Gehäusen u. dgl. hauptsächlich für Schlämmaschinen und ähnliche Vorrichtungen. Zweck der Erfindung ist, einerseits zu vermeiden, daß das Schlämmgut durch Eisenteile der Förderschnecke verunreinigt wird, ein. Übelstand, der häufig durch Losreißen von Eisenteilchen von der Fördervorrichtung oder ίο eine chemische Einwirkung des zu verarbeitenden Gutes auf dieselbe sonst häufig eintritt und andererseits die Ausscheidung von Schlämmverunreinigungen, namentlich aus tonigem Gut, zu vervollkommnen. Es sind zwar bereits Förderschnecken bekannt geworden, deren Oberfläche ebenso wie die Innenwandung des Förderschneckengehäuses aus Hartporzellan bestand, um eine Verunreinigung des Schlämmgutes durch Eisenteile zu verhüten. Die Erfindung besteht aber demgegenüber darin, daß die Schnecken sowie die Innenwandungen der Schneckenrohre mit einem schützenden Überzuge versehen werden, der eine rauhe Oberfläche aufweist, und z. B. aus Quarzit, rauher Emaille o. dgl. besteht. In besonderen Fällen ist es auch möglich, gewisse Teile der Vorrichtung ganz aus diesem Stoff herzustellen. Durch die rauhe Oberfläche wird neben den schützenden Eigenschaften eine erhöhte Reibung auf das Schlämmgut ausgeübt und dadurch eine leichtere Trennung der tonigen Bestandteile von den Verunreinigungen, z. B. des Kaolins von dem Saride, erreicht. Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes teilweise im Schnitt durch eine Schnecke und das Schneckengehäuse teilweise in Ansicht auf diese Teile. In dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel besteht die Schnecke aus einer Spindel a mit darauf sitzendem Schneckengang b, welcher ebenso wie die Spindel α und die Innenseite des Gehäuses mit einem rauhen Überzuge aus Emaille, Quarzit o. dgl. versehen ist. Dieser Überzug kann auch aus einzelnen Teilen bestehen, welche getrennt aufgesetzt werden. Die rauhe Oberfläche hat hier den Zweck, einmal das Schlämmgut aufzulockern und ferner durch die Reibung an der Trogwandung eine Loslösung des Tones von dem Sande zu bewirken. As a result of the rough surface, in addition to the protective properties, increased friction is exerted on the sludge and this makes it easier to separate the clayey components from the impurities, e.g. B. of the kaolin from the saride. The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention partly in section through a screw and the screw housing partly in view of these parts. In the illustrated embodiment, the screw consists of a spindle a with a worm gear b seated on it, which, like the spindle α and the inside of the housing, is provided with a rough coating of enamel, quartzite or the like.
