Abstract

The artificial ski-run is formed in three sections joined together by hinges. The longest section is attached to a platform which is suspended by the hook from a suitable crane. The centre section is supported on a low truck which is provided with a hydraulic jack. The hydraulic jack is used to adjust the angle of the end section to allow the ski-run to be used for ski jumping. Snow may be provided in the area for snow ski-ing or water ski-ing. The platform may be used separately from the ski-run as a platform for parachute jumping or for launching glider kites.
