Die in der Zeichnung im Längsschnitt dargestellte Orientierungsbussole unterscheidet sich von allen anderen Konstruktionen dadurch, daß bei Anwendung einer einfachen hochstehenden Magnetnadel a die Ablesung durch ein in bekannter Weise für Autokollimation eingerichtetes Fernröhrchen f stattfindet. Dies ist dadurch ermöglicht, daß ein kleiner Spiegel s rechtwinklig zur Längsachse der Nadel, dicht über dem Hütchen h und der Spitze * angebracht ist, und daß die — durch eine punktierte Linie dargestellte —· optische Achse des Fernröhrchens mittels eines Reflexionsprismas p derart gebrochen ist, daß ihr äußerstes Ende in einer Höhe mit dem Spiegel liegt.
