Es ist bekannt, daß wässrige, aber auch alkoholische Kamillenzubereitungen nur eine relativ kurze Zeit völlig stabil bleiben. Mehrere Kamillenwirkstoffe, insbesondere das Chamazulen und die En-In-Dicycloäther, unterliegen einer Autoxydation. Relativ gut stabil sind Ghamazulen und (-)-Ä-Bisabolol in reinem "Benzol. Dieses Lösungsmittel ist jedoch nicht geeignet für die arzneiliche Anwendung.It is known that aqueous, but also alcoholic chamomile preparations remain completely stable only for a relatively short time. Die Erfindung ermöglicht die Herstellung stabiler Kamillenzubereitungen, die sowohl äußerlich, als auch innerlich am Menschen und Tier angewendet werden können. Zu diesem Zweck wird das durch Destillation oder durch Extraktion gewonnene Kamillenöl in einem ITeutralöl, vom Typ eines Triglycerids mit ausgewählten, gesättigten pflanzlichen Fettsäuren gelöst. Das Neutralöl muß eine Jodzahl unter 0.5, d.h. einen geringen Gehalt an ungesättigten Fettsäuren aufweisen, sowie eine niedrige Säurezahl unter 0.1 besitzen. Die Handelsprodukte MYGLYOL^ 81 2 und MYRITOL^^I 8 erfüllen diese Forderungen und sind geeignet als Lösungsmittel. Diese galenische Form ist gegenüber den üblichen alkoholischen Zubereitungen verträglicher, sowohl in Hinblick auf die Reizwirkung auf die Schleimhaut als auch bezüglich der Applikation per os.
