Verfahren zur Herstellung eines die Haut nicht ätzenden Rasiercremes.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 25. November 1908 ab.
Die bekannten Enthaarungsmittel, die aus auf kaltem Wege bereiteten breiartigen Mischungen
von Alkali- oder Erdalkalisulfiden, wie Barium-, Strontium-, Calciumsulfit, mit Kreide,
Talkum, Stärke o. dgl. bestehen, haben die üble Eigenschaft, ätzende Wirkungen auf die
Haut auszuüben.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren, das zu Produkten führt, die
ίο diesen Übelstand nicht aufweisen. Sein Wesen
besteht darin, daß das Enthaarungsmittel auf heißem Wege hergestellt wird. Zu diesem
Zweck werden die zu Enthaarungsmitteln gebräuchlichen Sulfide unter Zusatz von Stärke
und Wasser auf etwa 100 ° erhitzt. Durch den Kochprozeß wird die in der Masse enthaltene
Stärke in Kleister umgewandelt, der die Haut vor Ätzungen schützt.
Ein Gemisch von 1,5 g Strontiumsulfid und
g Stärke wird mit 8 g Wasser zu einer dünnen Flüssigkeit angerührt, die darauf unter
stetem Umrühren bis auf etwa 100 ° erhitzt wird. Beim Erkalten nimmt das Ganze cremartige
Beschaffenheit an.
Claims (1)
- Patent-Anspruch:Verfahren zur Herstellung eines die Haut nicht ätzenden Rasiercremes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Alkali- oder Erdalkalisulfid und Stärke mit Wasser so stark erhitzt werden, daß die Stärke sich in Kleister umwandelt zwecks Herabminderung der Ätzwirkung des Rasiermittels auf die Haut.
