Abstract

The nozzle (1) has a hexagonal rear segment (4) with an inner thread (3) for being screwed to a pipe. A cylindrical segment (7) is located adjacent to the hexagon (4), followed by a shoulder (6) and a cylindrical front segment (7). A row of holes (8) is positioned in the transitional area between the step (6) and the cylindrical front (7) facilitating an effective distribution of a fluid evaporating fire extinguishing medium. A second row of holes (8) can be positioned parallel to the first close to the tip (7) of the element (1).
