Ein erfindungsgemäßes Rahmenprofil kann insbesondere mit einer Bautiefe des Blendrahmens von höchstens 70 mm und mit einer Gesamtansichtsbreite des Rahmenprofils von höchstens 120 mm ausgebildet sein, ohne dass ein Wärmedurchgangskoeffizient von 1,1 W/(m2K) überschritten wird. Um einen solchen Wärmedurchgangskoeffizienten zu erreichen, reicht es aus, den Blendrahmen und den Flügelrahmen jeweils als Fünfkammerprofil auszubilden. Hierbei kann auf zusätzliche Füllmaterialien zur Wärmedämmung, insbesondere auf Schaumkörper, im Blendrahmen beziehungsweise im Flügelrahmen verzichtet werden.
