Abstract

The backpack (100), comprising two shoulder straps (113. 114) and several compartments (110) of various sizes, some of them to be closed with a zip fastener, is additionally equipped with a space for a folded changing pad. The compartment is designed as a rectangular sheet (122), sewn to the rucksack (100) along the lower edge (125) and the lateral edges (123, 124) and open at the top for the insertion of the folded pad. The pocket can be closed with a zip fastener (126).

BACKPACK DEVICE

The invention relates to a backpack device with a closable bag with a front and a back, wherein two carrying straps for carrying the bag on the back of a person are attached with their respective upper and lower ends in the region of the front of the bag.

Backpack devices of the type mentioned at the beginning are generally used in the prior art to conveniently carry food and other items in everyday life and on trips and in particular hikes. However, the known devices have the disadvantage that they do not have a separate storage space for quickly removing a changing mat for an infant, in particular a foldable one that can be carried along.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a backpack device with a separate storage space for the quick removal of a particularly foldable changing mat for changing an infant.

For a device of the type mentioned at the outset, this object is achieved in that a closable cavity is provided in the region of the rear side of the bag, into which a folded changing mat device for changing an infant can be inserted essentially plane-parallel to the rear side.

Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the subclaims.

In the device according to the invention, the combination of features that a closable cavity is provided in the area of the back of the bag, into which a folded-up changing pad device for changing an infant can be inserted essentially parallel to the back, results in a backpack device being created by means of which a changing pad device can be carried along at all times and is quickly available for use without reducing the storage space of the bag of the backpack device.

According to a first preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the cavity is designed to be substantially rectangular.

According to another preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, it is provided that the cavity is firmly connected to the rear side in the region of three of its sides and is designed to be closable to the rear side in the region of one of its sides.

Preferably, a zipper unit is provided in the area of the closable side, which cooperates with a corresponding zipper unit on the back of the backpack device in order to firmly connect this side to the back for the purpose of closing the cavity. Furthermore, the closable side is preferably the side that is located near the upper ends of the carrying straps, wherein the cavity preferably essentially covers the area of the back of the backpack device.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, it is provided that the changing pad device can be transferred from a folded first state, in which it is arranged plane-parallel to the rear side, outside the device into an unfolded second state.

The changing mat device preferably contains a middle part and two side parts that can be folded over the middle part and are dimensioned so that they lie essentially flush over the middle part when folded in. The middle part and the side parts are preferably rectangular. The changing mat device can preferably be padded in whole or in part.

The device according to the invention is explained below using a preferred embodiment which is shown in the figures of the drawing. Therein show:

Fig. 1 shows a first preferred embodiment of the backpack device according to the invention in a folded first state in a view obliquely from above;

-Fig. 2 shows the preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention shown in Fig. 1 in a unfolded second state in a view obliquely from above.

The backpack device 100 according to the invention shown in Figures 1 and 2 contains a closable bag 110 with a front and a back 111, 112, in which two carrying straps 113, 114 for carrying the bag 110 on the back of a person are fastened with their respective upper and lower ends in the area of the front 111 of the bag 110, wherein, essential to the invention, a closable cavity 120 is provided in the area of the back 112 of the bag 110, into which a folded changing pad device 121 for changing an infant can be inserted essentially plane-parallel to the back 112.

The cavity 120 has a base area 122 which is essentially rectangular. The cavity 120 is provided with

the back 112 is firmly connected and designed to be closable with the back 112 in the region of one of its sides 126.

In the area of the closable side 126, a zipper unit 127 is provided, which interacts with a corresponding zipper unit 128 on the back 112 of the backpack device 100 in order to firmly connect this side 126 to the back 112 for the purpose of closing the cavity 120. The closable side 126 is the side that is located near the upper ends of the carrying straps 113, 114, with the cavity 120 essentially covering the area of the back 112 of the backpack device 100.

The changing mat device 121 can be converted from a folded first state, in which it is arranged plane-parallel to the rear side 112, into an unfolded second state outside the device. The changing mat device 121 contains a middle part 130 and two side parts 131, 132 that can be folded over the middle part and are dimensioned such that they lie essentially flush over the middle part 130 in the folded state.

The middle part 130 and the side parts 131, 132 are rectangular, and the changing mat device 121 is padded as a whole.

The embodiment of the invention explained above serves only for the purpose of a better understanding of the inventive teaching defined by the claims, which as such is not limited by the embodiment.

Claims (10)

1. Backpack device with a closable bag with a front and a back, wherein two carrying straps for carrying the bag on the back of a person are attached with their respective upper and lower ends in the region of the front of the bag, characterized in that a closable cavity is provided in the region of the back of the bag, into which a folded-up changing mat device can be inserted substantially plane-parallel to the back. 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the cavity is substantially rectangular. 3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the cavity is firmly connected to the rear side in the region of three of its sides and is designed to be closable to the rear side in the region of one of its sides. 4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that a zipper unit is provided in the region of the closable side, which cooperates with a corresponding zipper unit on the back of the backpack device in order to firmly connect this side to the back for the purpose of closing the cavity. 5. Device according to one of claims 3 or 4, characterized in that the closable side is the side which is located near the upper ends of the carrying straps. 6. Device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cavity substantially covers the area of the rear of the backpack device. 7. Device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the changing mat device can be transferred from a folded first state, in which it is arranged plane-parallel to the rear side, outside the device into an unfolded second state. 8. Device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the changing mat device contains a central part and two side parts which can be folded over the central part and which are dimensioned such that they lie essentially flush over the central part when folded in. 9. Device according to claim 8, characterized in that the central part and the side parts are rectangular. 10. Device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the changing mat device is padded.
