Die Toraxfassung 16 ist auf der Rück- und Vorderseite mit Verschnürungen 22 ausgestattet. Neben dem einstellbaren Toraxverschluß 21 ist mittels dieser Verschnürungen 22 ein exakte Anpassung der Toraxfassung 16 an den Torax des Behinderten erreichbar.The torax frame 16 is equipped with lacings 22 on the back and front. Am Rand der Toraxfassung 16 sind auf ihrer Rückseite, wie in Fig.3 abgebildet, die Traggurte 17 befestigt. Diese Traggurte 17 sind über Kreuz mit den Haltebügel 4 verspannt. Der Anschlag der Traggurte 17 am Haltebügel 4 erfolgt in den Halteösen 11, die auf der Innenseite der Radien des Haltebügels 4 angeordnet sind. Die Einstellung der Traggurte 17 erfolgt mittels der Spannschlösser 18. Diese Haltegurte 19 sind ebenfalls auf der Rückseite der Toraxfassung 16 im Randbereich befestigt. Wie Fig. 2 zeigt, sind diese beiden Haltegurte 19 um den jeweils daneben befindlichen Holm 3 der Rückenlehne 2 gelegt und auf der Rückseite der Rückenlehne 2 mit der gegenüberliegenden Halteklemme 14 verspannt. Durch Einstellen unterschiedlicher Spannlängen der Haltegurte 19 kann die Position seitwärts und/oder in der Rotationsachse der Toraxfassung 16 entsprechend der Haltungsstruktur des Behinderten beeinflußt werden.The severely disabled person in the wheelchair is prevented from tipping forwards by two transversely aligned adjustable holding straps 19 on the torso frame 16. Wie die Darstellung nach Fig. 1 weiterhin zeigt, wird der Behinderte durch eine Beckenfassung 23, die über dessen Beckenspinen geführt wird, rutschfest auf dem Rollstuhlsitz 1 und gegenüber der Rückenlehne 2 fixiert. Dazu ist die Beckenfassung 23 mit einem Taillengurt 24 und einem Oberschenkelgurt 26 ausgestattet. Der Taillengurt 24 wird um die Rückenlehne 2 verlegt und mit dem Spannschloß 25 verschlossen. Der Oberschenkelgurt 26 greift unter dem Rollstuhlsitz 1 hindurch und wird hier mit dem Spannschloß 27 verschlossen. Ein zusätzlicher Verschluß 28 in der Beckenfassung 23 ermöglicht das Öffnen und Schließen ohne die einzelnen Gurte immer zu lösen. Erst mit der Festlegung der Beckenfassung 23 im Rollstuhl kann der Schwerstbehinderte in eine aufrechte sichere Sitzposition aufgerichtet werden, in dem durch die Toraxfassung 16 eine nach oben gerichtete Abstützung erfolgt. Fehlt diese Beckenfassung 23, so würde der Behinderte beim Aufrichten mehr oder weniger vom Rollstuhlsitz 1 angehoben und könnte so ungewollt nach vorn abgleiten und zu Schaden kommen, was in jedem Fall zu verhindern ist.As the illustration in Fig. 1 also shows, the disabled person is secured in a non-slip manner on the wheelchair seat 1 and opposite the backrest 2 by a pelvic mount 23 which is guided over the pelvic spines.
