Abstract

A house under construction has a void which is late in the construction process is fitted with a permanent staircase. Following construction of the walls the house is fitted esp. with a temporary staircase (10) which is supported by the building walls, in lieu of the subsequent floor-supported permanent installation. The horizontal width of the temporary staircase is esp. adjustable.

Description

Cross element for a construction staircase and construction staircase

The invention relates to a cross element for a construction staircase which is intended for temporary installation in a stairwell and to such a construction staircase with a cross element.

When houses are completed in stages, it has become common practice to install stairs in the stairwells at a relatively advanced stage. This is done to prevent the new stairs from being damaged by the busy workmen and the transport of high-value items that put strain on the stairs.

In order to still be able to use stairs to get from one floor to another, construction stairs are placed in the still empty stairwells. Normal scaffolding stairs are used for this. However, these require a secure footing on a level surface (floor) and are made up of many parts that are also heavy when taken together. Due to the restriction to level surfaces, it is very difficult to set up such scaffolding in the case of slopes or partially concreted or prefabricated stairs, for example down to the basement, as they block the other stairs or the level difference of the ground is too great to erect such a temporary staircase easily and quickly enough. It is often also necessary to make substructures, for example from wood, to regulate the level so that the construction stairs are stable enough.

The invention is therefore based on the object of overcoming the above-mentioned disadvantages and of providing a construction staircase that is easy to handle and quick to assemble.

The object is achieved by a cross element according to claim 1 and a construction staircase according to claim 13.

According to the invention, a cross element for a construction staircase, which is intended for temporary installation in a stairwell, is characterized in that the cross element is designed to support at least one suspended staircase, wherein the cross element has support extensions, which support extensions are provided for holding the cross element on at least one wall of the stairwell, that the support extensions are designed to interact with receptacles prepared or present for this purpose in the stairwell wall of the stairwell at their support extension ends, wherein the support extensions can be changed in their length to the cross element, in particular by an extension or a guide on the cross element, and can be fixed in the selected length on the cross element.

The invention proposes that the stair parts forming the construction staircase should no longer be supported by a scaffolding structure resting on the floor of the staircase, as was previously the case, but rather a cross element should be provided that is supported on the vertical walls of the staircase. This means that the space under the staircase is freely accessible and the construction can now be manufactured in a light and easy-to-handle manner. The hanging staircases are supported on the cross element itself.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the transverse element is a transverse staircase which connects the suspended staircase(s) to another level via at least one step.

Advantageously, the cross member is stiffened by means of cheek supports and the cross members connecting them, whereby the cheek

beams and/or the cross beams carry a walkable supporting surface.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the cheek support forms the guide for the support extension.

According to a preferred development, the cheek support is designed as a hollow profile.

According to a particularly advantageous and therefore preferred embodiment of the invention, stringer supports are provided at each level of the transverse staircase, which are connected to one another via an angle piece.

Advantageously, a stiffening element is provided which reinforces the connection between the cheek support and the angle piece, wherein the stiffening element is in particular welded to the cheek support and the angle piece.

It is also advantageous if the angle piece and the cheek supports are formed as one piece.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the support extension end is designed such that it cooperates with receptacles which are formed by recesses made or prepared in the vertical stairwell wall, into which the support extension ends engage and/or by receptacles which are formed by holding devices fastened to the stairwell wall or a floor for engaging with the support extension ends.

An advantageous further development provides that the supports for interaction with the support extension ends are made of prefabricated, in particular standardized shaped blocks,

which were incorporated into the stairwell wall during construction.

Preferably, the cross element is provided with brackets for a railing (handrail) that can be inserted into it and, in particular, fixed therein.

Advantageously, the cheek support and/or the cross member and/or the bracket and/or the support extension are made of metal.

The invention further relates to a construction staircase for temporary installation in a stairwell, wherein said staircase has a walkable cross element according to one of the aforementioned embodiments and comprises at least one suspended staircase supported on the cross element.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention proposes that the construction staircase connects two different storey levels via a lower suspended staircase extending from the lower storey level to the cross element and an upper suspended staircase extending from the cross element to the upper storey level.

Preferably, a ceiling mounting part is provided as a holding device, which is attached to a floor ceiling above the level of the cross element. This has the advantage that a secure mounting is possible on this side of the cross element instead of a recess in a wall, since this is not possible, for example, without the support extension end having to be redesigned.

Advantageously, the suspended staircase(s) has a fastening extension at its end remote from the cross element, by means of which a fastening to a ceiling or the floor

the fastening approach provided for at a storey level is possible.

A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the suspended staircase(s) have insertion projections for receiving insertion extensions of railings that can be temporarily mounted on the suspended staircase.

Further advantages, special features and expedient developments of the invention emerge from the further subclaims or their subcombinations.

Figure 1 shows a cross element 10 according to the invention, designed as a cross staircase 16, for forming a construction staircase. The cross element 10 is further provided with

Suspended stairs are hung. The cross staircase 16 connects two different levels A and B via two steps 17.

The cross staircase is supported by the support extensions 11 at both ends of the cross staircase 16 on the wall. The support extensions 11 interact with the receptacles 13 prepared for this purpose in the staircase walls 2a, 2b (see Figure 8 for more details).

The cross staircase 16 is reinforced at its sides by means of stringer beams 18 and cross beams 19 connecting these (see also Figure 13). The walkable supporting surface 26, made of wood in the example, is attached to the stringer beams 18. The steps 17 are also provided with a step surface 27 made of wooden planks.

The support extensions 11 can be changed in their length L to the cross element 10 by means of the guide 20 formed by the cheek supports 18 and can be fixed in the selected length L on the cheek support 18 by means of bores 181 with split pins or the like.

The two horizontal cheek supports 18 forming the guide 20 for the support extensions 11 are connected to each other via an angle piece 22 (see Figure 12 for details).

Figure 2 shows a complete construction staircase 1 seen from above. The lower suspended staircase 40 is supported on the cross staircase 16 at the lower level A and leads down to the lower floor at level C. The upper suspended staircase 50 is supported on the upper level B of the cross staircase 16 and leads further up to the upper floor D. Levels A and B are bridged by the steps 17 of the cross staircase 16. The cross staircase 16 is only supported by the support extensions 11 on the staircase walls 2a and 2b of the still empty staircase 2.

Figure 3 shows the construction staircase from Figure 2 in side view. The hanging staircases 40 and 50 are attached to and supported by the stringer beams 18 of the transverse staircase 16.

If there is no suitable wall to provide a receptacle for the support extensions 11, a holding device 28 in the form of a ceiling mounting part 29 shown in Figure 4 can help. This is fastened to a suitable floor 30 and offers a base for a split pin 112 via several holes 291, which enables the cross staircase 16 to be securely fixed through the split pin hole 111 in the support extension end 12 of the support extension 11.

Figure 4 also shows the railing 25, which is inserted into brackets 24 and faces away from the suspended stairs. It is easy to assemble and can be easily varied according to the circumstances thanks to the brackets 24.

Figure 5 shows the ceiling mounting part 29 in a side view. It is simply connected to the floor 30 by means of heavy-duty dowels 292 and screws 293.

Figure 6 shows a situation very similar to that shown in Figure 4, but the support extensions 11 are pushed much further into the guides 20 and fixed by means of the fixings 201, in the example splints, which greatly alter their lengths L1 and L2. Here too, there is a great deal of variability, which means that the cross staircase 16 is very versatile and can be adjusted with the simplest of movements.

Figure 6 also shows the railing 251 opposite the railing 25 from Figure 4, which is also inserted into brackets 24. It is narrower so that the hanging stairs which are attached to this side of the cross staircase 16 are easily accessible.

Figure 7 shows a further modification of the cross staircase 16, which avoids the problem that a window opening 3 on the left stairwell wall 2a in the picture requires an offset of the holder 13 for the support extension end 12. This offset is achieved by an appropriately shaped support extension 11a with a corresponding extension. The full variability is retained.

Figure 8 shows a detailed view of the images 13.

The receptacle 13 forms the recess 14 into which the support extension end 12 engages and is supported. For better storage, a mortar bed 141 can be provided in the recess 14. To prevent the support extension end 12 from slipping in the recess 14, a U-shaped wedge 142 is introduced into the recess and its position is secured with a split pin 112 in the split pin hole 111.

The receptacles 14 can be manufactured particularly easily if they are made from prefabricated, in particular standardized shaped blocks 15, which were incorporated into the stairwell wall 2a during the construction of the stairwell.

Figures 9 to 11 show support extensions in various designs in detail. Figure 9 shows a support extension 11 as used in the lower guide 20 of the cross staircase 16. Figure 10 shows the support extension 11a with offset already explained in Figure 7.

And in Figure 11, a support extension 11b is shown, as it is used in the upper guide 20 of the cross staircase 16.

Figure 12 shows a detailed view of the connection between the cheek support 18 and the angle piece 22. These are connected

welded and additionally reinforced with welds using the stiffening element. The connection between the cheek support of the lower level A and the angle piece 22 is shown; at the upper level B, the cheek support there is also reinforced with the angle piece.

Figure 13 shows a schematic sectional view through the cross staircase 16 at the point where one of the cross beams 19 connects the two stringer beams 18 to one another. The stringer beams 18 forming the guide 20 for the support extensions 11 (these are pulled out in the picture) are formed by hollow profiles 21. The cross beam 19 is welded to the stringer beams 18. Also shown are the angle irons 182 to which the supporting deck (not shown) can be screwed.

Figure 14 shows an upper suspended staircase 50 with a railing 35 inserted into it. The suspended staircase 50 is connected to the upper floor D by means of a fastening projection 32, which is doweled to the floor, via a fastening extension 31. It is screwed to the cross element 10 at its stringer support 18 (see also Figure 16).

The railing 35 is inserted into insertion projections 33 with insertion extensions 34 and hooked to the railing part 25 (Figure 4). This enables a secure railing.

Figure 15 shows a lower suspended staircase 40 corresponding to Figure 14. This also has a fastening extension 31 which is screwed to a fastening attachment 32 connected to the floor C. For fastening to the stringer beam, see Figure 17. A correspondingly shaped railing 35 is again inserted into the insertion attachments on the suspended staircase 40.

Claims (18)

Cross element ( 10 ) for a construction staircase ( 1 ) which is intended for temporary installation in a staircase ( 2 ), characterized in that the cross element ( 10 ) is designed to support at least one suspended staircase ( 40 , 50 ), wherein the cross element ( 10 ) has support extensions ( 11 ), which support extensions ( 11 ) are provided for holding the cross element ( 10 ) on at least one wall of the staircase, that the support extensions ( 11 ) are designed to cooperate with receptacles ( 13 ) prepared or present for this purpose in the staircase wall ( 2a , 2b ) of the staircase ( 2 ) at their support extension ends ( 12 ), wherein the support extensions ( 11 ) are connected in their length (L) to the cross element ( 10 ), in particular by an extension or a guide ( 20 ) on the cross element ( 10 ), can be changed and fixed in the selected length (L) on the cross element ( 10 ). 2. Cross element according to claim 1, characterized in that the cross element ( 10 ) is a cross staircase ( 16 ) which connects the suspended staircases ( 40 , 50 ) to another level (A, B) via at least one step ( 17 ). 3. Cross element according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the cross element ( 10 ) is stiffened by means of cheek supports ( 18 ) and cross supports ( 19 ) connecting them, wherein the cheek supports ( 18 ) and/or the cross supports ( 19 ) carry a walkable supporting surface ( 26 ). 4. Cross element according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the cheek support ( 18 ) forms the guide ( 20 ) for the support extension ( 11 ). 5. Cross element according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the cheek support ( 18 ) is formed by a hollow profile ( 21 ). 6. Cross element according to one of claims 2 to 5, characterized in that at each level (A, B) of the transverse staircase ( 16 ) stringer supports ( 18 ) are provided, which are connected to one another via an angle piece ( 22 ). 7. Cross element according to claim 6, characterized in that a stiffening element ( 23 ) is provided which reinforces the connection of one of the cheek supports ( 18 ) with the angle piece ( 22 ), wherein the stiffening element ( 23 ) is in particular welded to the cheek support ( 18 ) and the angle piece ( 22 ). 8. Cross element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support extension end ( 12 ) is designed such that it cooperates with receptacles ( 13 ) which are formed by recesses ( 14 ) made or prepared in the vertical stairwell wall ( 2a , 2b ) into which the support extension ends ( 12 ) engage and/or by receptacles which are formed by holding devices ( 28 ) fastened to the stairwell wall ( 2a , 2b ) or a floor ( 30 ) for engaging with the support extension ends ( 12 ). 9. Cross element according to claim 8, characterized in that the receptacles ( 14 ) are prefabricated, in particular standardized shaped blocks ( 15 ) which were incorporated into the staircase wall ( 2a , 2b ) during the construction of the staircase ( 2 ). 10. Cross element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that holders ( 24 ) for a railing ( 25 ) (handrail) which can be inserted therein and in particular fixed therein are provided on the cross element ( 10 ). 11. Cross element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cheek support ( 18 ) and/or the cross member ( 19 ) and/or the holder ( 24 ) and/or the support extension ( 11 ) are made of metal. 12. Cross element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the supporting covering ( 26 ) and/or the step covering ( 27 ) covering the steps ( 17 ) is made of wooden planks. 13. Construction staircase ( 1 ) for temporary installation in a stairwell ( 2 ), characterized in that it comprises a walkable cross element ( 10 ) according to one of claims 1 to 11 and at least one suspended staircase ( 40 , 50 ) supported on the cross element ( 10 ). 14. Construction staircase according to claim 13, characterized in that the construction staircase ( 1 ) connects two different storey levels (C, D) via a lower suspended staircase ( 40 ) extending from the lower storey level (C) to the cross element ( 10 ) and an upper suspended staircase ( 50 ) extending from the cross element ( 10 ) to the upper storey level (D). 15. Construction staircase according to claim 13 or 14, characterized in that a ceiling mounting part ( 29 ) is provided as a holding device ( 28 ), which is attached to a floor ceiling ( 30 ) lying above the level of the cross element ( 10 ). 16. Construction staircase according to one of claims 13 to 15, characterized in that the suspended staircase ( 40 , 50 ) has a fastening extension ( 31 ) at its end remote from the cross element ( 10 ), by means of which a fixing to a fastening projection ( 32 ) provided on a ceiling or the floor of a storey level is possible. 17. Construction staircase according to one of claims 13 to 16, characterized in that the suspended staircases ( 40 , 50 ) have insertion projections ( 33 ) for receiving insertion extensions ( 34 ) of railings ( 35 ) that can be temporarily mounted on the suspended staircase ( 40 , 50 ). 18. Suspended staircase ( 40 , 50 ) for a construction staircase ( 1 ) which is intended for temporary installation in a stairwell ( 2 ), characterized in that the suspended staircase ( 40 , 50 ) is prepared for use with a cross element ( 10 ) according to one of claims 1 to 11, in particular has fastenings ( 36 ) which cooperate with corresponding elements on the cross element ( 10 ) to form a connection.
