Die Erfindung betrifft einen Fahrzeugsitz mit einer integrierten Insassenrückhaltevorrichtung. The invention relates to a vehicle seat with an integrated occupant restraint device.
Bei einem Unfall werden Fahrzeuginsassen heutzutage standardmäßig von einem Sicherheitsgurt auf dem Fahrzeugsitz zurückgehalten. Um das Durchtauchen des Fahrzeuginsassen unter dem Beckengurtabschnitt des Sicherheitsgurts, dem sogenannten Submarining-Effekt, zu verringern, ist es bekannt, einen Abschnitt des Sitzpolsters des Fahrzeugsitzes bei einer starken Fahrzeugverzögerung, wie sie etwa bei einem Unfall auftritt, anzuheben. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß kommerzielle, schnell anlaufende bürstenlose Gleichstrommotoren dazu geeignet sind, auch in der kurzen, bei einem Unfall zur Verfügung stehenden Zeit einen Abschnitt des Sitzpolsters zuverlässig um einen genügenden Betrag anzuheben. Auch diese Motoren können dazu eingesetzt werden, bei einem Unfall den Fahrzeugsitz 10 eine bestimmte, für den Fahrzeuginsassen 16 günstige Position einnehmen zu lassen. Das beschriebene Anheben des vorderen Abschnitts 22 des Sitzpolsters 12 ist nur als beispielhafte Maßnahme aufgeführt.
