Abstract

The protective sleeve (4) is applied on the sanitary towel side (2) facing away from the body in a rolled-up or folded form. Integrated hygiene protection (protective cover) on sanitary pads, tampons, pads and similar products
for personal hygiene.

In the following, only the term "integrated hygiene protection" is used.

The invention relates to an integrated hygiene protection on the above-mentioned products. The products on the market vary in their quality and application. There is no integrated hygiene protection on the products. The existing products are disposed of after use without integrated hygiene protection or in separate containers (e.g. paper bags).

Due to the lack of integrated hygiene protection in existing products (bandages, pads, etc.), hygienic and environmentally friendly disposal is not possible.

The solution is hygiene protection integrated into the products. This integrated hygiene protection can be made from a thin plastic material (or other materials such as paper or cellulose). The material should be biodegradable and combustible. The material should be impermeable to moisture, as thin as possible, very flexible, easy to handle (e.g. easy to unfold or roll up), skin-friendly and not affect wearing comfort.

The following advantages are achieved with the invention:

- Integrated hygiene protection is directly connected to the product.

- Integrated hygiene protection can also be made from non-transparent material.

- Integrated hygiene protection does not come into contact with the skin.

- Simple, clean and quick handling when covering the integrated hygiene protection.

- Hygienically clean and environmentally friendly disposal possible.

- No smell and no unsightly waste products after disposal.

- Sealed waste products no longer attract vermin.

- Material is biodegradable and combustible.

- Material very thin, flexible, skin-friendly, non-irritating and impermeable.

- Clean toilet facilities (also in public buildings).

During manufacture of the products (2), a folded/rolled integrated hygiene protection (4) (round or square shape) is applied to the underside (1) (side facing the panties = side not used) of the products (2) (pads, liners, ...) in the middle area (3) (other areas are also possible) (for example by gluing it (other fixings are also possible). The integrated hygiene protection (4) is held in shape on the top by light gluing (other fixings are also possible) so that it does not come off when the products (2) (pads, liners, ...) are worn. The integrated hygiene protection (4) lies very flat on the products (2) (pads, liners, ...). As the integrated hygiene protection (4) is attached to the underside (1) of the products (2) (pads, liners, ...), it does not bother the user when wearing it.

After use, the product (2) (bandages, pads, ...) is pressed/folded in the middle in the area (5) with the fingers of one hand. With the fingers of the other hand, the integrated hygiene protection (4) is rolled/unfolded over the bottom (1) to the end (6) of the products (2).

The integrated hygiene protection (4) is closed by a predetermined adhesive point (7) applied during production of the integrated hygiene protection (4) (other closing variants are also possible).

It is similar with tampon products (8). During the manufacture of the tampons (8), a cotton pad (11) (other shapes and body-friendly products are also possible) with a diameter of approx. 50 mm and a thickness of approx. 2 mm is attached to the end of the tampon (12) on the side of the tampon (10) that protrudes from the side of the body (9) (fixing is possible, for example, by gluing). During the manufacture of the tampons (8), the integrated hygiene protection (4) is fixed to the back (13) of the cotton pad (11) (as with sanitary towels, pads, etc.). After the tampons (8) have been pulled out of the body opening using the cord (14), the clean back (13) of the cotton pad (11) is bent around the area (15) of the end of the tampon (12) with the fingers of one hand and held pressed. Using the fingers of the other hand, the integrated hygiene protection (4) can now be rolled out/unfolded from the end of the tampon (12) over the sides of the tampon (16) to the beginning of the tampon (17). The integrated hygiene protection (4) is closed using an adhesive point (7) that was applied during the manufacture of the integrated hygiene protection (4) (other closure options are also possible).

Integrated hygiene protection (protective cover) on sanitary towels, tampons, pads and similar personal hygiene products. Integrated hygiene protection on sanitary towels, tampons, pads and similar personal hygiene products, characterized in that it is applied and fixed to the products directly during manufacture or before use of the personal hygiene products.
