Abstract

An electronic warning unit has transmitter (1) and receiver units with activation knobs (3) and a status light (4). When the received signal strength falls below a threshold value, indicating separation of receiver and transmitter, an acoustic or vibration alarm is generated. The system may be preset to sound when the two parts are separated by more than a small distance such as 1.5 metres.

Electronic warning system.

Nowadays, around 6 million euros worth of assets are lost or stolen every day around the world.

Gangs, young people and children specialise in pickpocketing. The unsuspecting owner does not notice the professional theft 90% of the time. In addition, people leave their valuables behind due to the stress of everyday life, for example:

during the shopping rush. To deal with this problem, we have invented a warning system. This type of protection/warning has proven to be very effective.

Description:

The system comprises a transmitter (1) and a receiver (2) that can communicate with each other over a specified distance and frequency. If the distance between the transmitter and receiver is greater than the specified distance, an alarm is triggered in the form of a loud whistle . This can prevent theft or locate a misplaced part immediately.

The specified distance is determined by a fixed design setting or by user adjustability from 0 to 1.5 m. It is decisive for the alarm to be triggered.

It is possible to have 50 different transmitter frequencies or more based on 128 bit encryption.

The system can be switched on or off by pressing a button on the transmitter (1).

An LED (4)(5) on the transmitter (1) and receiver (2) indicates the on/off function. Small batteries serve as the energy source for both the transmitter (1) and the receiver (2).

It does not matter whether the transmitter (1) or receiver (2) is attached to the body or to/in the object to be protected.

For deaf people there is the possibility of giving the alarm in the form of a vibration, in which case the receiver (2) must always be worn on the body.

Since the transmitter (1) and receiver (2) components are very small, they can be used in a variety of ways, e.g. in purses, wallets, handbags, jewelry boxes or even in larger containers and objects. They do not require any assembly or devices and can therefore be used in every household by different people and on a wide variety of valuables.

Claims (4)

1. Electronic warning system consisting of transmitter ( 1 ) and receiver ( 2 ), characterized in that
that due to the size of the transmitter ( 1 ) and the receiver ( 2 ) they can be attached in/on small containers or valuables ( 7 ) without significantly affecting their conspicuousness or usability, and
that an alarm signal can be triggered at the receiver ( 2 ) when a fixed or adjustable distance from the transmitter ( 1 ) is exceeded. 2. Electronic warning system according to claim 1, characterized in that the transmitter can be activated/deactivated by pressing a button and its operating state can be signaled by a light-emitting diode ( 4 ). 3. Electronic warning system according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that
that the distance between transmitter ( 1 ) and receiver ( 2 ) is monitored by a radio signal with coded modulated frequency, and
that if the fixed or adjustable distance to the transmitter of preferably 1.5 m is exceeded, the alarm is given in the form of a whistle. 4. Electronic warning system according to claim 3, characterized in that the alarm is given in the form of a vibration.
