Protective screen for garden plants

The present invention relates to a protective screen for garden plants according to the preamble of claim 1. 5

Some plants, due to their special growing conditions and their innate small size, have no chance of surviving outdoors or are unable to maintain their aesthetic appearance, so they require a protective covering around them and are thus isolated from the outside world. This prevents their growth quality from being affected by the weather or pests.

A conventional protective screen for potted plants, as shown in Fig. 8, comprises a box a and a protective cover b, the protective cover b surrounding and being attached to the box a.

With the above-mentioned design, the plants to be protected are covered by the box a, with the protective cover b placed on top to isolate the plants from the outside world and thus achieve a stable temperature and humidity. In addition, they are not affected by the weather to achieve a more favorable growing condition for garden plants.

However, the assembly and disassembly of the box a and the protective cover b are impractical because the box a has to surround the 0 plants, while the protective cover b rests on top of the box a.

Therefore, the object of the invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned deficiencies and to create a protective screen for garden plants in which a tensioning eyelet and a closing eyelet are used, each of which is provided with a

Referring first to Fig. 1, the present invention mainly comprises a main rod 1, a cloth cover 3, a handle 4 and four support rods 2. The main rod 1 is longer than the support rod 2 and has an inverted stop piece 11 projecting on the main rod 1 in a recess, and a fastening ring 13 and a thrust ring 14 are fitted to the main rod 1 to fasten the fastening ring 13 to the main rod 1. The thrust ring 14 is located below the fastening ring 13, and a fastening part 21 and a web part 22 of the support rod 2 are respectively connected to the fastening ring 13 and the thrust ring 14. The cloth cover 3 is provided with a central hole 31 in the middle and is fastened to the main rod 1 by the handle. In addition, the fabric cover 3 has a corresponding number of end caps 33 into which the respective ends 23 of the support rods 25 are to be inserted.

A sliding ring 15 is attached to the rear end of the push ring 14 of the main rod 1. The push ring 14 and the sliding ring 15 are each provided with a pull rope 141, 1510, both of which extend along the main rod 1 out of the handle 4 and are each connected to a tensioning eyelet 142 and a locking eyelet 152. With the above-mentioned design, it is only necessary to pull the tightening eyelet 142 connected to the sliding ring 14 to tighten the inventive shield, the sliding ring 14 moves upward along the main rod 1 to press against the support rods 2. The above construction strengthens the fastening of the fabric cover 3, whereby the length of the fastening rod 16 below the main rod 1 is shortened by adjustment and is thus shorter than the stretched support rods 2, whereby the fastening rod 16, as can be seen from Fig. 6, can be inserted into the soil inside the plant pot for fastening.

In yet another embodiment, as shown in Fig. 7, access is provided between the first and second support rods 2A, 2B by connecting a sheet-like fabric sheet 34 to the fabric cover 3 by means of a zipper 35. The fabric sheet 34 can thus be opened to form an opening and thus facilitate the placement of the potted plants within the protective screen according to the invention.

Claims (5)

1. A garden plant protection screen, which mainly comprises a main rod ( 1 ), a fabric cover ( 3 ), a handle ( 4 ) and four support rods ( 2 ), wherein the main rod ( 1 ) is longer than the support rods ( 2 ) and has an inverted stop piece ( 11 ) in a recess which projects on the main rod ( 1 ), and wherein a fastening ring ( 13 ) and a push ring ( 14 ) are plugged onto the main rod ( 1 ) to fasten the fastening ring ( 13 ) to the main rod ( 1 ), and wherein the push ring ( 14 ) is located below the fastening ring ( 13 ), while a fastening part ( 21 ) and a web part ( 22 ) of the support rod ( 2 ) are respectively connected to the fastening ring ( 13 ) and the push ring ( 14 ), and wherein the fabric cover ( 3 ) is provided with a central hole ( 31 ) in the middle and is attached to the main rod ( 1 ) by the handle ( 4 ), and wherein the fabric cover ( 3 ) has a corresponding number of end caps ( 33 ) into which the respective ends ( 23 ) of the support rods ( 2 ) are to be inserted; characterized in that a sliding ring ( 15 ) is fitted to the rear end of the thrust ring ( 14 ) of the main rod ( 1 ), the thrust ring ( 14 ) and the sliding ring ( 15 ) each being provided with a pulling cable ( 141 , 151 ), both of which extend out of the handle ( 4 ) along the main rod ( 1 ) and are each connected to a tensioning eyelet ( 142 ) and a locking eyelet ( 152 ), whereby it is only necessary to pull the tensioning eyelet ( 142 ) connected to the thrust ring ( 14 ) in order to tension the protective screen according to the invention, the thrust ring ( 14 ) moving upwards along the main rod ( 1 ) to press against the support rods ( 2 ), whereupon the thrust ring ( 14 ) is pressed and positioned by the inverted blocking piece ( 11 ). is used to keep the protective screen according to the invention in the unfolded state, and that in order to close the protective screen according to the invention, the locking eyelet ( 152 ) connected to the sliding ring ( 15 ) can be pulled so that the sliding ring ( 15 ) is moved upwards along the main rod ( 1 ) while the oppositely directed locking piece ( 11 ) is pressed into the recess, and that the thrust ring ( 14 ) is moved downwards by the thrust force of the support rods ( 2 ) in order to close the support rods ( 2 ). 2. Protective screen according to claim 1, characterized in that the fastening ring ( 13 ) is provided with an external thread ( 131 ), the central hole ( 31 ) of the fabric cover ( 3 ) being plugged into the fastening ring ( 13 ), while the handle ( 4 ) is provided at the bottom with a screw hole ( 41 ) corresponding to the external thread ( 131 ), whereby the handle ( 4 ) is screwed onto the fastening ring ( 13 ) in order to fasten the fabric cover ( 3 ). 4. Protective screen according to claim 1, characterized in that the main rod ( 1 ) has a locking extension ( 12 ) at the bottom, while a fastening rod ( 16 ) is provided with a plurality of adjustment holes ( 161 ) corresponding to the locking extension ( 12 ), so that the main rod ( 1 ) can be inserted into the fastening rod ( 16 ) and thus the length of the fastening rod ( 16 ) can be adjusted. 5. Protective screen according to claim 1, characterized in that an access between the first and second support rods ( 2A , 2B ) is provided by a sheet-like fabric web ( 34 ) being connected to the fabric cover ( 3 ) by means of a zipper ( 35 ).
