The present invention relates to a tall cupboard pull-out in the form of a rectangular box with a side wall forming the base of the box and a surrounding frame extending perpendicular to the side wall, wherein horizontally running guide means for guiding and moving the tall cupboard pull-out relative to a furniture body are formed or attached to the side wall and a plurality of fastening and/or receiving and/or supporting means are provided on the vertically running frame beams and on the side wall.

Tall cabinet pull-outs are available in many different designs and for many different applications.

A tall cupboard pull-out is generally referred to as a pull-out that is relatively high overall despite being narrow.

Tall cabinet pull-outs can also be found in pharmacies for storing medicines.

The present invention is based on the object of creating a tall cupboard pull-out of the generic type which, despite its simple construction, is comparatively versatile and can be used.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the box is designed symmetrically about a vertically running central axis and can thus be used optionally as a tall cupboard pull-out that is open on the left or right side.

Due to the symmetrical design - related to a vertical central axis - such a tall cabinet pull-out can be used for all conceivable applications.

Depending on whether the unit is used as a left- or right-hand open tall cupboard pull-out, a panel can be attached to the frame beam on the side of the frame facing the front wall of the cupboard. The fastening, support or carrying means required for this are provided on the vertical frame beam.

For a manufacturer of such tall cabinet pull-outs as well as for a furniture manufacturer who needs such tall cabinet pull-outs to complete his furniture, storage is relatively simple, since no special attention has to be paid to left or right usability.

The fastening, holding or carrying means provided on the vertical frame beams and on the side wall allow the attachment of a wide variety of utensil holders or storage boxes or the like required for a specific application, regardless of whether the unit is left- or right-handed, i.e. the usable space of the tall cupboard pull-out can be equipped as desired depending on the application.

Further flexibility with regard to the usability of a tall cupboard pull-out according to the invention is achieved in that, according to a further embodiment of the invention, the guide means - with respect to a horizontal central axis of the box - are arranged symmetrically to this central axis.

According to a further idea of the invention, the box is designed as a one-piece plastic part.

This makes it possible to produce a very stable tall cupboard pull-out in a relatively simple way.

If it is desired that a tall cupboard pull-out according to the invention can be stored and transported in a space-saving manner, it can be advantageous if, according to a further idea of the invention, the side wall and the frame of the box are manufactured as separate components and connected to one another in a dimensionally stable manner.

A further improvement can be achieved by making the frame foldable.

Further features of the invention are the subject of further subclaims.

Figures 1 to 8 show a tall cupboard pull-out 1, which can be inserted either into a container-like furniture body 2 (Figure 1) or into a conventional furniture body 3 (Figure 2).

The tall cupboard pull-out 1 has the shape of a rectangular box with a side wall 4 forming the base of the box and a surrounding frame extending perpendicular to the side wall 4 with vertical frame beams 5 and horizontal frame beams 6.

A cover 7 with a handle 8 is attached to a vertical frame member 5 which is at the front in the position of use.

As Figure 3 clearly shows, guide rails 9 are attached to the rear side of the side wall 4, by means of which the tall cupboard pull-out 1 can be slidably mounted in a furniture body 2 or 3.

In the embodiment according to Figures 1 to 8, the box-like tall cupboard pull-out 1 is manufactured as a single piece as a plastic part, whereby both the side wall 4 and at least the vertical frame members 5 are advantageously equipped with reinforcing or stiffening ribs 10 in order to ensure high stability with minimal use of material.

Both the vertical frame members 5 and the side wall 4 are provided with fastening, receiving and/or supporting means 11, which serve, for example, to fasten the already mentioned panel 7 to a vertical frame member 5 or to fix utensil carriers 12, as shown in Figures 7 and 8.

The fastening, receiving and/or supporting means 11 mentioned can be screw channels or pressed-in threaded bushings for screwing on guides or front panels, for example, and these means can also be designed in the form of hanging slots for hanging utensil holders 12. Protruding or projecting support cams for hanging utensil holders 12 can also be used here.

According to the invention, the tall cupboard pull-out 1 is designed symmetrically around a vertical central axis A-A (see Figure 1) and can therefore be used on either the left or right side. If the tall cupboard pull-out 1 is used in different positions, it is only necessary to attach a panel 7 to different vertical frame beams 5.

Furthermore, the guides 9 on the rear side of the side wall 4 are arranged - with respect to a horizontal central axis B-B - symmetrically to this central axis B-B, which is particularly clear in Figure 3.

Thus, the tall cupboard pull-out 1 can also be used "on its side". The latter can be useful if a horizontal frame beam 6 is designed as a chamber with a chamber divided by ribs 13, while the opposite vertical frame beam 6 is designed as an open box.

The latter is the case in the embodiments according to Figures 9 and 10, whereby Figure 9 shows that the open box can be divided as desired by insertable partition walls 14 or, according to Figure 10, can be divided in the desired manner by insertable trays 15.

A tall cabinet pull-out as described and designed as above can be manufactured extremely inexpensively, especially in a one-piece plastic version, and can be used universally due to the design described.

Claims (11)

1. Tall cupboard pull-out ( 1 ) in the form of a rectangular box with a side wall ( 4 ) forming the base of the box and a surrounding frame extending perpendicular to the side wall ( 4 ), wherein horizontally running guide means ( 9 ) for guiding and moving the tall cupboard pull-out ( 1 ) relative to a furniture body ( 2 , 3 ) are formed or attached to the side wall ( 4 ) and a plurality of fastening and/or receiving and/or carrying means ( 11 ) are provided on the vertically running frame beams ( 5 ) and on the side wall ( 4 ), characterized in that the box is designed symmetrically about a vertically running central axis (A-A) and can thus be used optionally as a tall cupboard pull-out ( 1 ) open on the left or right. 2. Tall cupboard pull-out according to claim 1, characterized in that the guide means ( 9 ) - with respect to a horizontal central axis (BB) of the box - are arranged symmetrically to this central axis (BB). 3. Tall cupboard pull-out according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the box is designed as a one-piece plastic part. 4. Tall cupboard pull-out according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the side wall ( 4 ) and the frame of the box are manufactured as separate components and are connected to one another in a dimensionally stable manner. 5. Tall cupboard pull-out according to claim 4, characterized in that the frame is designed to be foldable. 6. Tall cupboard pull-out according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the horizontally extending frame beams ( 6 ) are each designed as chambers which are open towards the outside. 7. Tall cupboard pull-out according to claim 6, characterized in that one of the chambers is divided into differently designed compartments by integrally formed ribs ( 13 ). 8. Tall cupboard pull-out according to claim 6, characterized in that one of the chambers is divided into different compartments by partitions ( 14 ) and/or box parts ( 15 ). 9. Tall cupboard pull-out according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the fastening, receiving and/or supporting means ( 11 ) are designed in the form of screw channels, threaded bushings, hanging slots or the like. 10. Tall cupboard pull-out according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that a panel ( 7 ) in the form of a front panel is attached to a vertical frame member ( 5 ). 11. Tall cupboard pull-out according to claim 10, characterized in that the panel ( 7 ) is equipped with a handle part ( 8 ).
