Die Breite und Tiefe sind flexibel herstellbar und haben somit kein festes Maß. Ebenso variabel sind die Materialien aus dem die Kappe gefertigt werden kann.
Die Kappe kann optional geschraubt oder gesteckt werden. Im Falle der Verschraubung, ist zu beachten, dass die Kappe über ein selbstschneidendes Gewinde verfügt, welches sich also selbstständig in z.B. den Mantel eines Kabels oder in bauähnliche Alternativen / Objekte/ Gegenstände schneidet.
Die Kappe wird folglich geschraubt oder optional geklammert oder optional gesteckt/aufgesetzt und ist somit fest mit dem Gegenstand (z.B. Kabel) verbunden.
