Description

Modular shelving systems are characterized by the fact that they can be easily assembled from individual components or disassembled into them. The modular design of the shelf allows users to combine different shelving elements, depending on their needs, in order to obtain an optimally suitable shelf. In particular, these shelves have proven in the establishment of shops, because this is an individual adaptability to the ever-changing product assortments is guaranteed.

Typically, a modular shelving system includes a plurality of shelf columns that are vertically aligned by footboards. These shelf columns have perforations that are suitable to attach perpendicular projecting from the shelf column brackets, on which in turn a shelf can be placed. The consoles have hooks that are inserted into the perforations of the shelf columns to provide a strong connection between the various components. Alternatively, other shelf elements, such as shelf rear walls or shelf side walls can be hung via hooks in the holes.

The perforations of the shelf column usually correspond to slot-shaped or drop-shaped openings, which run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the shelf column. A shelf element is releasably connected by hanging one or more hooks in these holes with the shelf column.

In the prior art there are a variety of different forms of hooks, which inter alia pursue the goal of achieving high stability with the least possible use of material.

Object of the present invention is to reduce the cost of materials with constant stability of the suspension hook or to improve the stability of the Einhängehakens at constant material costs.

This object is achieved by the suspension hook of a shelf element described in the present claim 1. The hook allows in comparison to the prior art with the same material use a higher stability or constant use of a lower material usage. This is achieved by an embossing in the area of the suspension hook, which provides additional stiffening of the suspension hook.

In summary, the present invention relates to a suspension hook 1 a shelf element for hanging in a shelf column, wherein the hook has an embossing in its planar region. As a result, the stability of the hook is improved or alternatively created the possibility to reduce the material used for the hook while maintaining stability.
