Mit der unteren Drehscheibe kann der Kocher nach Ost-West und mittels Kurbel (F) der Sonnenhöhe angepasst werden. Der Umlenkspiegel wird dann durch die drehbar konstruierte Spiegelhalterungsplatte ebenfalls dem jeweiligen Lichteinfall angepasst.
