Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung des Dach-Hohlraumziegels gehört zum Thema Bauphysik. The invention of the hollow roof tile belongs to the subject of building physics.
Such a hollow brick serves to protect attic rooms from warming in summer and to keep them even better warm in winter.
Schaumstoffe.Closed air volumes are the best insulation after closed vacuum rooms and are inexpensive. Common insulation materials therefore contain a lot of air in closed rooms, e.g. Foams.
A great deal of effort is being made today to insulate buildings in order to save heating costs and energy. Thermal insulation is usually understood to mean insulation against heat loss in winter. But good insulation is also important in summer (against external heat supply), especially in inhabited attics.
The present invention is intended to improve the thermal insulation of roof coverings.
The usual roof covering (clay or concrete tiles) with pitched roofs is a so-called warm roof. The roof tiles are single-shell. They are hung on the roof battens and are loosely connected with the tiles next to and overlapping. The rainwater is thus safely drained down over the roof surface. They only little insulate heat flows in both directions.

When the sun is shining, the roof tiles heat up, giving off heat inside. Even good thermal insulation under the roof tiles, which is common today, cannot prevent the roof space from heating up more than the floors below. Such a roof is also called a warm roof.
In contrast to the warm roof, there is the so-called cold roof, which has a larger air space between the top of the building and the roof covering, from which the air heated by the solar radiation can escape, so that the space below does not heat up as much.
Die Zeichnung zeigt Hohlraumziegel zur Herstellung eines solchen Kaltdaches. The drawing shows cavity tiles for the manufacture of such a cold roof.
This saves e.g. an air conditioner, at least it reduces the cooling capacity required by it. This hollow brick is also useful for winter, because the air layer between the upper and lower part of the brick insulates. This makes the upper brick part less warm and the snow remains on the roof and improves the thermal insulation.
Again alternatively, the upper brick part can also consist of a dimensionally stable and weatherproof material other than clay, e.g. Made of sheet metal made of aluminum, of an aluminum alloy or of iron, which is preferably painted with a dark color or darkly stained or anodized.
