Abstract

Description

Classification of the system

The multifunctional bed system is a hybrid of bed, storage furniture, as well as play and sports equipment.

Weaknesses of existing multifunctional bed systems

The multifunctional bed system is characterized by the free configurability, both in the size of the lying surface, as well as the use variants, also by its easy expandability, individual configurability due to its modular design, and by easy assembly and disassembly and transport.

It is characterized by a freely designable post-plug system with variable usable round timbers, which also allow a multifunctional simultaneous use.

The posts can be interconnected and combined with each other in any way through holes using the round timbers, which ensures a high degree of versatility of use in the horizontal and vertical planes.

Half-drilled balls serve as end pieces for fixing the round timbers as well as decorative elements. Optionally, the balls are provided with a thread, which can be screwed onto the round timbers, so that a completely metal-free construction without tools is possible. Alternatively, balls can be attached without thread and fixed with screws on the ends of the round logs. Multifunctional board elements ensure both the use as a support for slatted frames or mattresses, as well as a shelf or seat, storage, writing and playing area.

Cross grooves in the underside of the board elements facilitate the positioning on the round timbers, define certain distances between the posts and fix the position of the boards in the longitudinal direction.

• 6. Funktionelles bzw. dekoratives Zubehör (Elemente zum Einstecken bzw. Einfädeln in die Löcher der Pfosten), wie z. B. Rundholzabschnitte mit aufgeschraubten oder -geklebten Dekorelementen, Naturfaserseil dessen Durchmesser mit den Bohrungen der Pfosten korrespondiert, Vorhänge/Stoffbahnen, etc.

• 3. Nun werden weitere Rundhölzer in den benötigten Längen nach Wunsch eingeführt und ggf. mit multifunktionalen Brett-Elementen versehen.

• 5. Zum Schluss können die restlichen Löcher in den Pfosten nach Belieben zur Befestigung von Dekor-Elementen (6.) verwendet werden.
