Description
Küchenschere zum Einritzen der Schale von harten Fruchschalen, wie z. B. Esskastanien, vor dem Garvorgang. Die Schale muss vor dem Garen, egal ob Kochen in Wasser oder Erhitzen in einer Pfanne, eingeritzt werden. Dies ist deshalb erforderlich, damit die Schale nicht unkontrolliert platzt und nach dem Garvorgang besser entfernt werden kann. Üblicherweise benützt man dafür ein kurzes Küchenmesser, was aber durch die oft harte Schale zu Verletzungen der Finger oder Hände führen kann. Es ist außerdem mit einem enormen Kraftaufwand, vor allem bei größeren Mengen, verbunden. Bei einem Versuch mit einer Küchenschere kam mir die Idee, die Scherenspitze entsprechend zu bearbeiten, daß eine Art Papageienschnabel entsteht. Mit einer entsprechend zugeschliffenen Schere konnte bei einem Versuch dieser Arbeitsgang leicht und ohne Verletzungsgefahr bewältigt werden.
