- 2. Die Leuchtmittel sollen gegebenenfalls einzeln in ihrer Helligkeit veränderbar (dimmbar) sein, um Helligkeitsunterschiede bei verschiedenen Beleuchtungsabständen ausgleichen zu können (Anforderung der G1eichmäßigkeit).
- 3. Die Leuchtmittel dürfen kein Fremdlicht zu den Seiten oder nach hinten abstrahlen und müssen flexibel auszurichten sein (Anforderung der störungsfreien und präzisen Exponatausleuchtung).
- 4. Die Leuchtmittel sollen einfach und schnell, möglichst werkzeuglos austauschbar sein (z.B. Austausch eines engstrahlenden gegen ein breitstrahlendes Leuchtmittel), um sofort auf unterschiedliche Anforderungen in der Ausleuchtung reagieren zu können. Außerdem sollen Zusatzelemente wie Blendraster, Filterscheiben, Maskierblenden o.ä. montierbar sein (Anforderung der Flexibilität).
- 5. Das Beleuchtungssystem soll unauffällig und unter möglichst großer Schonung der Bausubstanz installierbar sein. Die einzelnen Leuchten sollen kompakt auf die Abmessungen des Leuchtmittels optimiert und die Gesamtgestaltung funktionsorientiert und zurückhaltend sein (Anforderung der gestalterischen Angemessenheit).
- 6. Das Beleuchtungssystem soll modular aufgebaut sein um besondere Beleuchtungs- und Montageanforderungen durch einfache Modifikationen in einem gestalterischen Gesamtkonzept erfüllen zu können (Anforderung der gestalterischen Einheitlichkeit).
- 7. Das Beleuchtungssystem soll kostengünstig installierbar und mit geringen Folgekosten wartungsarm zu betreiben sein (Anforderung der Wirtschaftlichkeit).
