Abstract

The spacer (3) of the edge seal (2) between the glass panes is made from a glass fiber reinforced plastic. The spacer is attached to the glass either by high-strength adhesive or by means of a film (4) applied to the surface which is in contact with the panes. The film is made of plastics material selected to provide high mechanical strength around the edges of the window structure. A dessicant substance (6) can be included either as part of the spacer or in a separate piece.

Description

Die Erfindung beschreibt die Ausführung eines Randverbundes (2) an Isolierglasscheiben (1). Im Normalfall besteht der Randverbund (2) aus einem Hohlprofil aus Metall oder Kunststoff, in dem das Trockenmittel (6) für die Funktion der Isolierglasscheibe (1) untergebracht ist. Zur Außenseite hin wird noch eine zusätzliche Abdichtung (7) aus Silikon oder Polysulfid angebracht. Im Allgemeinen übernimmt der Randverbund (2) keine statische Funktion. Bei Belastung verhält sich die Isolierscheibe (1) statisch mehr oder weniger wie zwei Einzelscheiben (5). Die bisherigen Abstandshalter, wie auch die bisherigen Abdichtungsmaterialien, sind nicht in der Lage die beiden Scheiben soweit schubfest miteinander zu verbinden das die beiden Scheiben als gemeinsames Profil tragen können. Dies wäre jedoch sehr wünschenswert da hierdurch besonders die Verformungen unter Belastung stark reduziert werden könnten und je nach Scheibengröße sogar auf sichtbare Stützprofile ganz verzichtet werden kann. Um diesen Nachteil zu beheben wird vorgeschlagen das der Randverbund (2) aus einem faserverstärkten Kunststoffmaterial besteht. Dies hat den Vorteil das dieses Material einen relativ kleinen Wärmeleitwert besitzt und trotzdem über hohe Festigkeiten verfügt. Die Anbindung des Abstandhalters kann entweder durch entsprechend hochfeste Kleber erfolgen oder durch spezielle Folien. Hierzu geeignet sind insbesondere Folien aus Polyvinylbutyral oder Ionoplast Polymer. Besonders das Ionoplat Polymer bietet hier besonders hohe Festigkeitswerte. Durch den Verbund des Abstandshalters (3) mit den Glasscheiben (5) kann hier ein nahezu monolithisches Tragverhalten des Randbereiches erreicht werden. Das Trockenmittel (6) kann entweder in einem separaten Teil (2) untergebracht sein, oder es befindet sich in einer Aussparung des Abstandshalters (1). In einer weiteren Ausführung (4) kann in dem Abstandshalterprofil (3) eine Nut (8) angebracht werden in die Halteelemente (9) eingreifen können. Eine weitere Ausführungsform zeigt 7. Hier wird eine Isolierglasscheibe mit insgesamt 3 Einzelscheiben (5 und 11) ausgeführt. Durch den sich jetzt ergebenden dickeren Glasaufbau wird die Steifigkeit der Scheibe nochmals wesentlich vergrößert. Weiter hat ein solcher Glasaufbau mit zwei Zwischenräume auch noch wärmetechnische Vorteile. In weitern Ausgestaltungen (8 bis 11) kann das Abstandshalterprofil (3) noch mit zusätzlichen Stegen ausgeführt werden die zum einen die Steifigkeit der Scheibe erhöhen und zudem als konstruktives Element verwendet werden können.The invention describes the execution of a marginal composite ( 2 ) on insulating glass panes ( 1 ).
