Abstract

Diese Schicht dient als Abdeckung [4] und wird in jedem Fall an den äußeren Enden des Fallschutz-Areals so befestigt, dass sie fest (unverrutschbar) auf dem stoßdämpfenden Unterbau [2] aufliegt. Eine Fixierung der darunter liegenden Schichten ist somit gewährleistet. Die z. B. mit Stahlstiften [6] verankerte Abdeckschicht wird am Rand im Erdreich [7] versenkt, somit ist ein ebenerdiger, schwellenfreier Zugang zu diesem Areal gesichert. [Querschnitt]
• 2. Die darunter liegende Schicht [2] besteht aus verformbarem Material von gleichmäßiger oder gemischter Körnung oder auch aus Mischungen verschiedener Materialien (z. B. Gummi oder Kunststoff). Durch die verschiedenen Materialkombinationen können unterschiedliche Eigenschaften (Dichte, Flexibilität, Korngrößen und Oberflächenstruktur) genutzt werden. Das verformbare Material kann direkt auf dem Erdboden oder anderen Materialien aufliegen und sollte Wasser abweisend sein. Die Mindesttiefe des Schüttgutes kann je nach Beschaffenheit des Materials und der Zweckbestimmung zwischen 50 mm und 500 mm betragen. Auch andere Maße sind umsetzbar. Am besten eignet sich dafür stahlfreies, zerkleinertes, granuliertes Material aus Altreifen oder Kunststoff in der Größe von 5 mm bis 20 mm, andere Materialien und Granulatgrößen sind ebenfalls realisierbar.
• 3. Das eventuell erforderliche Entwässerungssystem [3] kann nach innen oder außen gerichtet werden.
• 4. Unter dem Fallschutzmaterial kann als Trennung zwischen Erdboden und Fallschutzmaterial eine Trennschicht (Geotextil, Teichfolie o. ä.) eingebaut werden, um Verschmutzungen des Fallschutzmaterials von unten zu verhindern und anfallendes Wasser kontrolliert durch die Drainage ablaufen zu lassen.
• 5. Teile des Areals können auch, wenn kein oder wenig verformbares Material eingebaut wird als „Mulden" ausgebildet z. B. für Sandkasten o. ä. verwendet werden.
• 6. Mit einer lokalen Erhöhung der Schüttung können kleinere Hügel in das Areal eingebaut werden.
• 7. Die Materialschichtung des stoßdämpfenden Fallschutzbodens ist so vorgesehen, dass alles leicht wieder entfernbar und anderweitig erneut eingebaut oder anderweitig verwendet werden kann.
• 8. Einbaubedingt lädt das System nicht zum Diebstahl des Materials ein.
